   I wish I could give a negative rating, but unfortunately, that's impossible. This branch has once again disappointed me. When I arrived to pick up my order at 11:30 a.m., half an hour before closing time, I found a notice on the door stating they were closed for stocktracking. There was no online information (Facebook, email, Google, website, or app—nothing at all). Now I'm unable to complete the scheduled work and have incurred the costs of transportation and a helper. Dear CITY PLUMBING, don't run your business this way!!!

   Kathy and the team at City Plumbing, Hyperion Way really saved the day when we were let down by an order with a different supplier. It was great to deal with someone who knew and understood the products and were able to provide a speedy turn around. We won't make the mistake of ordering with other people in the future; City Plumbing provide excellent products and services and will be our first choice in the future.

   Previous owners of house had bogged the waste plumbing under the sink. After another flood visited City Plumbing and explained problem to Jim. Recommended I change the waste system and after I discovered the sink was from the EU identified the adapter I needed to successfully complete the job. He displayed great patience, great knowledge and great customer care. Highly recommended

   I needed a toilet part. I kept ordering online but they would not fit, because the parts descriptions did not provide crucial dimensions information. Yesterday I visited a plumbing DIY store, Hyperion Way, Reading. The gentleman at the counter said I had to make an order online on the tablets at the entrance. I explained my difficulty and his response was "what can I do, I cannot help, I don't know the dimensions anymore than what's on the screen ...". That meant I would have had to order and buy all the various part/s available, and then return any or all which did not fit. I left the shop. As I returned to my car I saw, around the corner, City Plumbing. The elderly gentleman at the counter there told me he understood exactly my predicament as there are many sizes on the market for various types of toilet cisterns. He looked it up on his machine, went into the shop, brought out the parts, we both measured the one that would fit, and I bought it. It took all of 5 minutes. I returned home and fitted it. I am grateful to the kind gentleman for his patience and helpfulness; I think younger people can learn from some of us who are "old school". 5 star to the outstanding salesman at City Plumbing, 4 star for the quality of the part. So overall 4 star to City Plumbing.

   I called to cancel an order over phone. The person over phone did not bother to search the order by waiting to listen for complete order number. Instead he was rude and did not confirm if he could find the order and hung up.

   Just had the best customer service experience from City Plumbing in Reading, recently and therefore it’s only fair to give credit when due. Fast, efficient and extremely professional advice and service - I explained the issue to the staff (Excellent Advice & Knowledge from Paul) - City Plumbing had the necessary equipment for me to purchase - Solved my issue - see before and after pics. Highly Recommended!
