   Have been using Alexander for years now, after they rescued my ass when my car decided to break itself 2 days before i was due to drive down south. Not only did they offer fix it under such time constraints (when i was begging for help on fb) they explained what had happened in a way that was understandable and easy to follow. Absolutely amazing service, reasonable prices, actively go above and beyond, and just down to earth to yap to. I have crippling anxiety and struggle with small talk, but the team have always made it so easy to chat to them without resorting to weather and holiday chat. Plus i hate making phone calls so booking over their messenger service is a blessing. Brownie points if their wee furry mascot is there for pets. Couldnt reccomend them enough.

   Excellent service from Brian and team. Hyundai took 300 pounds to diagnosis an engine check light related to dpf and gave a bill for 6000£ to replace the whole manifold. Brian fixed the issue instantly at fair price and did an extensive drive test to confirm the fix. Highly recommend!!

   Not a good experience. Asked for a price for some rear brakes because my handbrake was coming all the way up at my MOT Was told would need drums? Brakes Shoes, cables and Wheels cylinders? They just looked at the MOT fail certificate I had and said that's what it'll be Price was very very expensive, my boyfriend said I should get a second opinion, another garage physically checked it and said Handbrakes Arms were stuck and they managed to fix it without any parts needed then i got my MOT done again and it passed, at a fraction of the cost. Might be good mechanics but just check with what they are saying to you, maybe take a family member that knows about cars if you are inexperienced , don't think I will be back as they wanted to charge my a good few hundred pounds for work that didn't need doing.
