   Nice, clean, and well-presented shop. Polite, friendly staff. Good range of products. There's nearly always a decent selection of reduced items, where you can grab some great bargains. There's a cash machine outside and a wheelchair accessible ramp. Lots of free car parking nearby.

   Overpriced shop, takes ages to get served and promotional deals don't go through on the till. Only positive is the vast array of different products compared to other supermarkets.

   Good selection for a medium sized supermarket & lots of luxury high end food & drink products, however more expensive than most shops, though they have some budget products. Staff are all friendly & helpful. Nice and handy but not the place to do a main food shop

   I have not been to Budgens since before lockdown and I was very disappointed when I visited yesterday. A wall of bacon, sausages, meat and pies and yet I could not find a single example of a product that included meat from an animal that had any stated higher welfare standard. No free range. Certainly no organic. I could not even find anything with the RSPCA stamp. I know that it costs more but some people, including me, would prefer a smaller portion of high standard meat than a bigger portion of factory stuff. In other ways the place seems to have gone downhill The feel and layout doesn't have the almost homely welcome that it used to have. The two stars were earned by the assistant who packed my bag very carefully with the heavier things at the bottom. Thank you!

   One of the best budgens in the reading area... The coffee and hot food section is my favorite... Usually very well stocked... staff is very nice and courteous and as soon as queue starts to build up, back-up hops on... Cheers!
