Staff are polite and friendly overal. Also the location is pretty good for the nearby flats. Unfortunately, the shop is small and overpriced by a lot. Quality is fine when it comes to whole foods like milk or vegetables. However the vast proportion is highly proccessed food and fatty/sugary snacks. Overal i would use this shop to buy spdcific products from my shopping list when in need rather than a full restock of goods.

Shocking customer service at the BP I am going every single day, I am a regular there and I have never ever experienced anything like this in my life .Wokingham Road A329 Earley M5, Reading RG6 1JU at 17 00 pm , today 14.11.2024. I am still in shock how I have been treated by one of your employees. Why on Earth are you employing this animals? First of all he is making himself a coffee while I am checking out some products so i am with the back at him, I am receiving an email I have to answer quick and his animalistic behaviour starts he isn't taking into account I am still there and he is barging into me twice. I look at him asking him have you got a problem, mate? He turns around saying I am trying to pass through, what do you want me to do I said excuse me twice. I went so if I don't pay attention or hear you ,you have the right to barge into me like I don't even exist there ????? I was in shock I've never seen such an argumentative animalistic behaviour in my life. What gives you the right to speak like this to a customer ? I asked the guy at the till what is wrong with his colleague and he went : some people have a bad day. This isn't my problem? I wanted to go and ask him for his name cos I want to put a complain and he said on this rude tone and agresive :I don't need to tell u my name ( looking at me very superior ). Then I asked him where are his skills and why does he deal with customers when it is obvious he doesn't have any manners, customer skills whatsoever not to mention he isn't going to stop arguing with me whatsoever and he is becoming even more agresive verbally even tho there are other customers in the store looking at how he is embarrassing himself . I was basically in his way and I was bothering him while he was making his drink. Next time I shouldn't check any items ,just to allow him to do his things . I am fumming and I am extremely furious at you, M&S allowing this animalistic behavior in your store and allowing this ppl to treat customers this way. I have been verbally abused ,no one ever went so rude and agresive towards me before , and I will never ever step one foot in that store again. You have lost me as a customer untill you sort your employees out . Even his colleague from the till started shouting at him to stop this !!! This behavoir it is DISGUSTING AND SHOULD BE ERADICATED!!!

Exceptionally rude staff...to me...to the customer in front in the queue and the one behind. Seem to also employ a bloke who looks like a crackhead as the store enforcer. Very strange petrol station indeed! Avoid

If you're after fuel for your vehicle then this isn't a bad place to start. The staff are friendly and it also sells a reasonable amount of those necessities like milk and bread.
