   Today I went to Istanbul Market to buy chicken, and I had a very unpleasant and disrespectful experience with the butcher. I asked him politely to clean the chicken properly, but instead of doing his job, he responded rudely and said, “Don’t you have a knife at home? You should clean it yourself.” The chicken he gave me was extremely dirty and unhygienic. When I got home, I had to clean it all over again myself. This is not the first time this has happened — every time I go there, he behaves the same way and shows no respect to customers. He didn’t even bother to remove the remaining dirt properly. His attitude was completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. Customers should not be treated this way, especially when they are paying for a service. I am very upset and angry about this experience, and I believe this kind of behavior should not be tolerated. Note: He was a dark-skinned boy who looked Pakistani and wore glasses

   We love shopping at this store for our monthly meat and Middle Eastern grocery shopping. They have all the products that we need for our Levantine culinary. Staff is nice and friendly and the prices are good. Definitely one of the best of its kind in Reading.

   Great Turkish grocery store with a very wide range of Mediterranean delicacies. They have a good selection of Turkish, Greek and Polish brands. A great cheese selection. Very fresh green grocer section. They also have a hallal butcher section. Most importantly fresh baklava. I'm happy we found it because some dishes need the original ingredients.

   A great shop where you can buy everything from fruit, vegetables, meat, rices, spices & flours. Delicious Turkish pastries and breads are freshly available. Staff are friendly and polite. Shout out to Oz & his uncle who are always happy to have a chat.

   This is the shop where I can find all the things I miss about my country: nice tomatoes, grapes, even fresh walnuts! It stands out from the other international shops around West Reading because it’s very well stocked and the prices are more affordable, hopefully it will stay this way.

   A very convenient store for local and Turkish groceries, fruits, vegetables and fresh meats. The only problem is parking in that part of Oxford Road is very difficult. There’s no staffs on the floor to assist but the staffs on the till and at the meats counters are very polite, helpful and efficient. If you want an atmosphere of little Istanbul this is the place to visit!
