    I have been a loyal customer of this Co-op in Shinfield for over 3 years and, until recently, I was always satisfied with the service and the friendly environment in the store. However, in the past 2–3 months, my experience has changed for the worse. There is a particular staff member (an Asian gentleman) who repeatedly uses abusive and offensive words in Hindi while working. While many customers may not understand what he is saying, I do, and I can confirm that the language is highly inappropriate, disrespectful, and unacceptable in a public setting. It is extremely unprofessional for a staff member to use such words on the shop floor, where families, children, and regular customers like myself come to shop in what should be a welcoming environment. I have noticed this behavior on multiple occasions, and I feel very disappointed that a store I trusted and regularly supported is allowing this type of conduct to continue. It reflects poorly not just on the individual, but on the management as well, if no action is taken. This is a humble but firm request to Co-op management: please take this matter seriously and ensure that strict action is taken against this behavior. As customers, we deserve to shop in a safe, respectful, and professional environment, and right now that standard is not being met.

    This store is consistently poorly managed. No matter how long the queues get, there is always just one staff member on the till. It is clear that serving customers is not a priority. There could be 15 or more people waiting, and the rest of the staff are either restocking shelves or standing around avoiding the front. It genuinely feels like they do not want to interact with the public. The lack of urgency or basic customer service is shocking. Coop, this is not good enough. Your customers deserve better

    Always replacing my Uber eats orders with the most random of orders. I order steak you give me lean mince (I drove in and saw you had steak), I order bread you replace it with flour, I order eggs you replace it with cereal, I order anything you replace it with something so out of order. It’s like you play this game, let’s find the most inconvenient replacement for this customer in relations to what he/she has ordered.
