There was a queue but it went by fast with the comfortable seating and that like the rest of the shop has a history. Paul is also an excellent conversationalist all the while cleaning up my scrappy appearance.
Very friendly, very chatty barbers that has a long history with life times of experience between them (not an exaggeration). First time visit after moving to the city after attending my original barber for 15 years, put me at ease. Very meticulous when cutting my hair and would go back over areas if they think they've missed anything, and will do so until satisfied (this sounds like a basic requirement but many places will finish an area and never look back), there was a queue but they didn't rush anyone. General crowd being middle aged men who don't want any fuss but they will serve all ages. No visible price that I noticed (may have missed it) but hair and beard trim was £15.50. They do mostly operate in cash but can take card payments easily enough. Honestly need more reviews.
Used a couple of other barbers in the high street and didn't enjoy the experience so decided to try this place out. Warm greeting on entry with comfortable seating area. Only a short wait even with one other person ahead of me. The barber was very polite and chatty making this experience much more pleasant. Did a good cut and also cheaper than the other establishments in the town .

Splendid gentlemen barber with a impressive collection of instruments from yesteryears. Almost a museum in its own right. The staff are friendly; ambience unbeatable and one of the best ones this side of the country.
