I have been going elegant nails with Amy for almost 7 years! She is amazing and welcome to help any time. Never disappointed when I come to this shop.
This has to be the worst nail salon I’ve ever come across. The young woman with a bob cut who “greeted” me was full of attitude from the moment I walked into an empty salon. I went in for a pedicure — the prices were clearly displayed, yet she tried to overcharge me by £10. When I questioned it, she claimed the prices on the board were “wrong.” When I asked why they would display incorrect prices, she became even ruder and told me she would “get the manager.” Her behaviour went from bad to worse, and she refused to continue my pedicure, telling me to leave. When I again asked for the manager, she suddenly claimed she was the manager — which I find hard to believe. Her behaviour was unprofessional, hostile, and felt indirectly racist. She is giving this salon a terrible reputation by overcharging customers, possibly pocketing the extra money, and treating people with utter disrespect. I will never return, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this place. If the owners contact me I can prove this with video
Amy is amazing! Always manages to copy any nail art my daughter requests and ensures we’re happy before we leave but always promises we can pop back if there are issues. Best nail salon in town.
So so pleased with my nails. Have been coming here for almost a year. Never once disappointed. The nail art is amazing, not rushed took her time and made sure they were perfect. Lyn did my nails and I’m asking for her every time I go now. She’s lovely, really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. Thank you Lyn, hope you have a lovely Christmas. See you again soon! Xxx
Hated my nails. The guy that did my nails was very rude, couldn’t even do a simple design. I had to change my mind on the design and he couldn’t even bother to take off, he polished on top, I asked him to redo my nails on one hand because it was horrible and too thick (the other hand was still thick but not too bad, I felt too uncomfortable to ask to change) at the end he wanted to charge me £35 for a full set nails but I paid £30. I spent my money for a terrible service!!! Never again. He can’t even put dipping powder correctly and fingers are filled with dry powder.
First time visiting and Amy did the perfect shape for me, loved them before she even started the design...then she finished my nails and they were perfect even better than expected. I will definitely be a regular from now on :)
