Great selection of kit and tools, very happy with my wolfgarten pruning head. The staff were very helpful.

We went to visit Carter's for the first time and from that first experience we would recommend them to everyone. We had a little knowledge about robotic mowers but having spent time with James we purchased a Segway Navimow. We took it home and set it up ourselves using the app. We then went to a bbq at friends and had great delight checking it's progress as it cut our grass!! Brilliant service from Carter's.

We bought a robot mower and we’re extremely pleased not only with the product but the exemplary service. They fitted the docking station etc but also set the receiver onto the top of the house for a better signal and spent some time running through everything. The fitter needed a longer ladder so returned to the shop to get one. In all he gave 5 hours to ensure everything was perfect. I found the company using ChatGPT - it certainly found the best company.

Spent £1k on a new professional lawnmower a few months ago, albeit for domestic use, only for one of the outer cables to break after 4-5 sessions. Approached Carter's as it seemed like the cable may have been defective only to be told the opinion of their 'tech' was that it had been pinched. If their 'tech' had half a clue he would realise it's pretty impossible to pinch the cable with the way they run. If they had of said "you pay for the part and we'll cover the labour as goodwill" I would have thought fair enough even though I don't believe it to be user error and the cable is very easy to change. I would like to think most half decent outlets would just change the cable goodwill considering what we spent, the age of the machine and it's good PR but not Carter's. Just a flat 'you broke it, give us some money' - not even a condescending discussion on how we may better use the mower to prevent future issues. A business is judged on how you deal with issues and you Carter's of Swanwick are pretty damn poor. Update: Picture added for context. It's obvious from the picture and even more blatant in person that the cable can not come into contact with the hinge. It actually moves slightly closer to the inside of the machine when folding. I'm not sure what number you were calling but it certainly wasn't ours!! As mentioned, your customer service is awful and your reply confirms this. Perhaps you should make an effort rather than being so dismissive resulting in 1 star reviews?

The team at Carter's of Swanwick have been extremely helpful everytime we visit. They are patient when we lack knowledge & ask lots of questions & take time to share best practice & explain things in a way that is easy to understand. They are very helpful & friendly.

Recently purchased a Husqvarna 415x from Carters of Swanwick and throughout the entire buying process we were expertly advised by James Glasper - Hassell, their Commercial Sales Manager, as to the most suitable model for our size of lawn. Delivery and installation of the boundary wire took no more than a couple of hours and we can now sit back and watch as the mower makes its way around the lawn. Easy to operate and keep an eye on it using the app on a smartphone meaning we can now go away to visit family and friends without worrying about what state the lawn will be in upon our return. Thoroughly recommend both the product and the service from Carters of Swanwick, thank you!

I have purchased a Husqvarna automower from Carters 4 years ago including installation. The automower has exceeded my expectations, we have a very large garden and the mower (now called Doombar) saves me 2 hours a week plus I no longer have a mountain of grass cuttings to take to the tip. The mower has never needed a service, I give it a quick brush down once a month and change the blades three times a year (new blades cost pennies). I have accidently cut through the underground border wire a couple of times, but it's easy to find the break and a quick snap-on waterproof connector fixes any break within minutes. Our garden is approx 3/4 acre and has a large patio island with a few trees and a couple of manhole covers .. all no problem for the automower to navigate around. Every visitor to our house comments on our garden and of course Doombar becomes a focal point in the garden. It's been a great buy and with almost no runnings costs has been excellent value for money. PS Doombar is what I'm hopefully drinking while the automower cuts my grass.
