   Staff always very friendly and helpful, but as others have mentioned, the discounts on food at or near use by and best before dates are paltry. Often they are less than the per item price on multibuy, which makes no financial sense to purchase. I have found items past their sell by date a few times, and handed to staff to dispose of.

   Some of the Essential range and a few other products like the slow-reared chicken ( despite two large price hikes in the past year ) represents exceptional value . The voucher system is at last working for me after about 3 years of no vouchers. Many products are very close to their sell by date . Often there is no mark down or only 25p . Today's purchase of Root Zero potatoes is an example of how Waitrose aren't handling their products well : sold on the sell by date and all the potatoes were green . Their flowers are usually really good but we did have a completely duff bunch of carnations that refused to open . The staff at this store are very friendly and helpful .

   I had quite a stressful morning trying to find swimming nappies for my daughter’s pool party. They were out of stock almost everywhere. When I checked the Waitrose website, I saw there was some stock left, so I decided to call first just to be sure. I spoke to a lovely lady named Tracy, who not only confirmed the availability but also asked what size I needed and kindly set one aside for me at the till since stock was low. Her kindness and helpfulness genuinely turned my morning around. Thank you, Tracy, for going the extra mile and making my day better!

   After shopping in Southampton, on my way home via dropping charity donation for age uk. See waitrose shop perfect to pick up food shop. I also needed the ladies. Large store but customer service advised there were no facilities and to try subway. Not particularly friendly. Can't believe big national supermarket cannot provide such facilities for each location. Abandoned shopping in search of toilets.

   It's always a pleasure to shop at Waitrose but suffering a fall yesterday, the staff were so kind and caring, they even organised an ambulance and arranged my shopping to be delivered today, with a bunch of flowers. I can't praise them enough and it made my black eyes and broken nose less painful due to their kindness and skill if care. I will never forget their help, thank you.

   Dogs in a food shop? No thanks. I had someone's pet wiping it's nose on my trousers whilst I was shopping. Disgusting.

   Below par. I've worked in multiple Waitrose stores in my life, finding them to usually be very accommodating and friendly. I went in to buy a pint of milk, which split randomly all over me. At the till there was no apology offered for what had happened (not my fault), and I was practically blamed for it. Unprofessional and disappointing.
