Worst experience I had in a shop. I come in around 6 am and while shopping a lady with a bun behind the counter screams at me to if the bags I’m carrying are from that shop and that I should put groceries in a basket. No one ever told me that before as it’s easier for me to carry a bag instead of a basket.. always done it never been a problem apart from that lady that probably wasn’t in a good mood that morning since being so agitated about such a silly thing. I thought that the people that work in shops know that if you steal something an alarm will go off so I don’t understand her unceassary agitation of me carrying my groceries in a bag. Tesco train your workers better.

The Woodman. The name seems to have struck for this pub to Tesco conversion. A useful location and adequate parking for a Tesco express. All the usual Tesco express features and products including self checkout and a coffee machine. Not sure what's wrong with the wine chilling fridges, hopefully they will be sorted out soon.

Not impressed trying to weave round "click &collect" and delivery trollies. In one isle I counted five trollies plus one assistant with another trolley stacking shelves. I assume having so many staff completing orders explains why so many shelves are empty. Things didn't improve through the checkout, the staff member on duty spent so long nattering to the couple in front of us, it was unbelievable. Sorry Tesco's your in store experience for customers needs working on. Will not be returning any time soon.

It's nice, clean and the workers here are pretty nice. The shop prices vary and are not always the same as the big supermarkets but you can still get club card prices and deals. Fresh food quality is very high standards and prices ain't too bad on most items. Overall a really nice store.

Generally staff is friendly ( obviously could happen that one day by chance you get someone who is not in great mood- but that can happen in any shop). There is a reasonable variety of products ( including organic milk for eg.). The shop is normally open till 23:00 which it’s handy. Sometimes you can get some products with discount ( at certain times) as in many Tesco shops. Overall a good shop for what it’s.

Nice convenient store with all the most essential things you're likely to need.

Nice little shop. Sells food, alcohol, cards, magazines, some cleaning stuff and has a small baby section. It also has an ice cream fridge (so you can buy single lollies). Also there is a Costa machine inside as well as an cash machine outside. Staff are nice and it is Tesco so the prices aren't to bad.

This store is now at the heart of an essential local service. Many local elderly use it as the prices are reasonable, access and stock are good, staff polite helpful and cheerful. In addition to milk bread etc, they have plenty of average price stock as well as premium, so unlike some other stores, you can get a reasonably priced food shop if required without paying inflated prices . A great store for our community. Only slight gripe is tight parking, but that's not Tescos fault.
