Great shop friendly staff that will find you things if not on shelf also has a post office which always has someone on it. Lots of section of stuff from food drinks alcohol cleaning products pet food it's like a mini super market. Has a nice size car park out the back too

The staff that run this store are brilliant. I live in the next village & make the journey to go to this store because you always get good service. They also run a post office & quite often even if there is only one member of staff manning the shop & Post office they still serve you with a smile & make you feel welcome !
It's not abandoned! Actually a really nice store with friendly staff, despite the fact that the outside looks pretty dystopian.

So since my last review, things have dramatically changed at the shop. Prices are better, staff are friendlier… However, my main concern is that the back lights of the shop are no longer turned on. This is a hazard as cannot see the steps going to and from the road. My mum has said about this to them, but still nothing, just worried about someone tripping down or up the stairs.
Great little store. Always well stocked and very friendly staff. Added bonus of being a parcel dropoff point.
Much improved store. I have lived in the village all my life and have always used this store, up until a year or so ago. I got fed up with there never being much stock there and always having to go to bishops Waltham to get what I needed. I went back again today and was truly impressed with the range of goods on offer, especially the availability of Co-Op products. The chap behind the till was also really friendly and helpful. I will definitely be using the store again from now on.
