Always get great service and food from Harri. There's been many times when I can't help but pick up some of his black garlic beef kebabs or bourbon burgers
Really impressed with my purchases today. The beef n horseradish sausages are lovely with just a slight heat coming thru. The pork chipolatas are very nice. Would be a good breakfast banger. Both have very good meat content but are not at all dry. Lastly the puff pastry and lamb wheel was super. A really nice change. Something different. I wish the butcher well. He’s worth seeking out round the rear of Botley Mill. Hence the name hidden! Oh and being a retired blue light worker. I got 10% discount with my blue light card. What’s not to like. Thanks.
Discovered this butchery just before Christmas. Quality and tradition from a proper butcher. Won't go anywhere else now for meat - pop in regularly for weekly essentials and it is always good to see and try their ever-changing range of home-made specials; meatballs, stir frys, chicken lattice etc. Harri knows his trade and is more than happy to pass on invaluable advice on cuts, cooking methods etc. Highly recommend.
This butcher’s meat is exceptional. He also has great advice about how to cook and season etc. Make sure you try the pork belly! Located behind Botley mills - it’s slightly off the road and well worth a visit.

Great local addition to Botley, the meat sold here is always delicious and Harri always goes above and beyond. Including making baby appropriate steaks for my 6mo old daughter (who absolutely loved it). We also got all our Christmas meat here for 20 people we had as guests over two days and they all said it was delicious.
Harri is so helpful and friendly. He sale's lot's of amazing meat's eggs honey and my husband love's him mint sauce. Worth a visit strongly recommend.
As always the Service, Advice and the Meat was great. We had a rolled & stuffed turkey it was great all loved it so easy to cook and moist. The Sprouts with Lardons amzing it was all FAB Many thanks for making Christmas Lunch so tasty and easy Looking forward to the Beef rib for new year looks great We will be back in the new year.
