disgusting. 6 long excruciating hours of hard education in Charleston Academy and shop worker called Eva and this other lady are discriminating against andacademy students based off of a logo I think that this is disgusting behaviour as there is an orderly queue outside yet no one is getting let in. if I could give Lidl zero stars I am 100% would. I had to wait half an hour after a long day to buy whipped cream and hot chocolate powder and then when I wanted to wait for my friend as I was paying for her they did not let me in. this is a appalling behaviour from the staff as I expected for them to be one of the most popular and kindest work chains and public Limited in my local area called Chellaston. we are made to queue in a line so two people can go in as two people come out yet Eva chose and to ignore our propositions as for paying for one another or to go find one’s parents and it says discriminate and chooses men over women which brings us back into history on a patriarchal society, such as the jacobean society. this is appalling and King James should never have wanted this. I think this is disgusting behaviour and I would like to get a refund or shut this company down. they let people from the back in and ignore the queue of people waving for 30 mins + and they were very ignorant and used foul language towards us . no matter how good the bakery is this has just cost them a loyal customer. no i am not a karen just a young individual. the whole of the academy is threatening to sue or riot against and protest for equality . disgusting from you.

Absolutely disgraceful attitude from a member off staff.... recently went in and went to a open till and the man who was serving shouted at me "if you're paying by card use the self checkout!" in a very aggressive manner and talking to me like I'm thick!? In front of everyone in the store. I said back I'm paying cash! He has done this previously to me when I had card but didn't want to use the self checkout due to being in pain with my rib. He never speaks a word when he serves no please or thank you. No manners what so ever I'm going to be reporting him for the way he spoke to me. And not only that if you don't want to use self service you don't have to! It's their job.

Normally very happy with this place but felt let down on my last visit. There were no normal tills open and I was directed to the self service tills. I had a full trolley of shopping so asked for a main till if possible. The person who served me threw my shopping through as if on a time limit. Very shocked!!

I like Lidl and it is convenient for me on my walks, but I will be a bit more careful choose the made sandwiches. All I want was a ham sandwich, which it was without mayo just butter. To my surprise NO BUTTER. Went back and got a refund. I wonder how many other store are selling this "thing" and who is pocketing the money saved by not putting butter on bread.

Decent sized location, with in-store bakery. Always clean and tidy and their team there are friendly and respond to lines quickly, no self service isles as yet though. This is located on the site of the old site public house the Rose and Crown, which along with the church was demolished to make way. There is a public toilet and baby change facility on site

Great for basics. Open late(ish). Lovely young bloke on tills - very dry sense of humour.

It's Lidl, bargains to be had most times you go in. Staple foods are about as cheap as you will find while maintaining a bit of quality. Rarely busy and the carpark is plenty big enough

Brilliant experience in the shop today, till got opened straight away so I didn’t have to queue at all and was blown away by the service I received. Turns out it was the store manager! Will deffo be back

Food definitely good value, bag of fresh sprouts 19p!!! Shop clean and food aisles well stocked. Varied selection of frozen Christmas foods, all looked good. Cashier very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend you give it a try.
