This is a great supermarket. Can always find what I need here.

Too many items are only worth buying if you have a Nectar card, if you don’t have one don’t shop here!

Love the salad bar in this town centre store. Always a nice experience shopping in this store as it's quiet. The parking restrictions are a bit annoying, but now just pop round fast to save having to mess around or park over at the free car park. The meal deals are good value and there are some good deals to be had if you shop the discounted items.

Absolutely fine, friendly staff serving people as well as they can. Well stocked and clean. Argos inside as is the norm now. No hot food to go sadly but still a good choice of meal deals. Bakery full of choice too. Be aware the car park is pay and display and you only get 30 mins free. Failing that its a reasonable £2. This is owing to the town centre location and the abuse of the car park despite there being large car parks nearby for other town centre visitors.

In an otherwise normal pleasant store, I was rather shocked to see the (human) organic dry food ie nuts, seeds, superfoods, placed directly next to the rabbit/bird food!! This seems extremely unhygienic and unpleasant. Surely, Sainsbury would not approve of this?! It's seems a very poor, inappropriate placement choice.

Love, love, love Sainsburys. Taste the difference is well priced always yellow sticker stuff to get yourself an 'on the day' eat. Clean, many staff to help, and nectar points build fast

Sainsbury's used to have a cafe and a pharmacy but both now closed. Products are not always available, but when they are there is a good range. Not so many tills open these days and it appears there is a push towards selt operated check-outs. A great shame about the changes, it used to be a great store to shop in. Fresh produce in bags such as salad produce no longer have a use by date ( to apparently reduce food waste). This is okay, but how does the customer know how fresh the produce actually is? Likewise how do staff know when the produce is well past its use by llife? Now for some positives. If you have a Nectar card, then for most of the items you purchase, you'll get nectar points (there are exclusions sch as alcohol etc). These point eventually add up to enough for money off vouchers, that you can use when paying for your shopping. Another positive is that small trolleys are nearly always available as well as the large trolleys and baskets.
