Since being refurbished, the Co-op store is great. Everything you need for day-day living and more. Great prices especially if you are a member.
I have just been into this store as I do on a regular basis. The girl at the till finished serving a customer saw me walking to the check out walked straight pass me into the back store room. I waited several minutes then knocked on the door. The same girl came out. I said " your pretty amazing you saw me coming to the till but still chose to walk pass me " she raised her voice and said " you could have used the self check out " when I pointed out I was buying a bottle of wine she said" I could authorize it from here.then said " how could you when you weren't here " I asked her name and she told me it was non of my business. Said she was incredibly rude. She then replied" I don't care" I will be reporting this to the store manager. Terrible service
This store is absolutely joke the staff are useless having staff picking orders I understand but 2 staff only but there's a que of people waiting to be served and the rude staff thinking it's priority to pick an order instead of serving customers in the store. now i understand why people steal from there the staff can't be bothered. co-op you are hiring staff that are a joke. if I ever drive past and see smoke coming from store i wouldn't even ring the firebrigade just let the people who live above know i thought my mates where joking about the store since the refurb. Also had my mum that ive just picked up from being discharged from the hospital waiting in the car for her essentials that I eventually told my sister to leave the things on the side and we will go to Tesco. Co ops response was a lady with blonde hair saying 'does he think that's going to bother me... nah'. Very rude and will not be using the store again with other members of the public that I know do not use the store because of this.
Whoever the chap is behind the counter is an absolute diamond. I pop in this store only a handful of times each when passing through Totton. Every single time I walk out the door with a smile on my face thanks to him. The world needs more people like this man. Credit to himself and to the co op.
Nice Co-Op store, reasonable amount of nearby parking. Shelves seem well stocked. Typical convenience store prices. Pleasant staff.

Most of the staff are really hard working. One particular man seems to hold the rest up. I wish he was there more often to clear the queues as he's so efficient, with an outstanding customer service!
