We unfortunately had to visit Aand E at Telford last Thursday afternoon. Yes the place was busy. We fairly quickly was assessed and referred to other treatment. We were there around 4 hours in total and the staff and the treatment was Absolutely fantastic. We had to go back on Saturday morning because of the wound still bleeding slightly and blurred vision. We had excellent service again and had a c.t scan and were there around 3 hours and referred to Ophthalmology outpatients for treatment. We received a phone call Sunday morning to go to Ophthalmology at Shrewsbury hospital the following day for check up. Absolutely Fantastic 1st class service. I can't understand why everyone is critical of the health service. I know things don't always go so well and quick as this but We certainly can't complain and fantastic credit where it is due. Thanks so much for everyone in both Hospitals for their great treatment

My Mother recently had a fall downstairs and badly cut herself . I would be a real fool if I didn’t express just how grateful I and my family feel after experiencing the most fabulous level of professionalism, empathy and grace… I experienced at least twenty NHS STAFF in this process from trauma to healing … at every level these members of staff were incredible . Absolutely the best of examples of how society can gell. I do hope these fabulous people get the recognition they totally deserve , whilst dealing with the huge challenges of our current situation . These are young compassionate people from many places … they deserve our gratitude and support . I wonder whether the systems support such excellent care .

Mothers should not be put under pressure to have a natural birth when a Caesarean section would be safer. As James Titcombe and Nadine Montgomery pointed out, in the week the Ockenden report was published, NHS adverts were still producing messages that promote the role of midwives as ‘guardians of normal birth’. As Lady Hale said in her judgement on Montgomery's case: some obstetricians feel "that a vaginal delivery is in some way morally preferable to a caesarean section: so much so that it justifies depriving the pregnant woman of the information needed for her to make a free choice."

Fantastic , excellent and wonderful, I am short of words when it comes to thanking Telford maternity unit , The first thing I would like to share is a how great my midwife Charlotte and Adele were , they were like two angels who looked after me and my baby ,two of the most wonderful human beings they both had such am empathy , determination ans dedication towards their work which makes makes them the most special persons in my motherhood journey, Secondly when you hear you had a delivery the first thing you hear is “ oh I am a mother I lost my sanity “ but I can proudly say Telford hospital maintained my dignity as a woman . Thirdly my post natal care was so good there was always someone available to look after me and my baby as I stayed there for two days . Thank you maternity unit at Telford it was great being in your care.

As requested by my GP, I attended Telford A & E for an x-ray of a suspected fractured rib. After 6 hours waiting, I discharged myself. As I understand it, there is no particular treatment for this condition other than rest and tablets. Google can help me on this a whole lot better than Telford A & E. Do you regard this as acceptable?

Was waiting over 6hrs and no doctors come to see baby. Staff was very carelesss must he fire all the staff every time I asked when doctors come to see only one answer don't know because just one doctors covering full emergency ward. This is very very bad. I recommend to other if you have free day then go this hospital otherwise don't go.

Couldn’t have asked for better care from them. If I’d have paid I’d have felt just as happy with the level of care.

Worst a and e I've ever visited waited 7 hours was told it only be 2 , and then we were told we were 5th in line , then after 7 ipurs of waiting with my wife in pain we were told there was now 11 people ahead of us so we decided enough was enough, thes nurses were rude and one nurse was joking and flirting with 3 security guards instead of doing her job, this went on for about half an hour, one of the security was even swearing not very professional at all, and as for the toilets there were blood staines on the toilet roll which I asked tem to change which took 45 minutes to change, the lock on the ladies toilets didn't even work We will never go there again!

Awful services. They are babies killers. Incompetent service, they don't care about mother and baby. Reading the new I can only say I feel sick about the Soulless staff trying to cover up the dead of babies. Thanks to the BBC and the families who now have the voice to tell the truth.
