1. Discovery Dragon ★☆☆☆☆

   Three attempts at delivering an overpriced advent calendar, twice direct and once through Amazon. Calendar kept arriving far from pristine. Customer service must have thought I was fishing for a free item OR a discount - not my thing - I don't have the time but nonetheless their representative was rude, abrupt and argumentative and quite clearly annoyed at having their profits dented having to continuously pay for postage (which they procured and which simply wasn't up to the job!)

   Wide selection of drinks to suit all tastes, and great for that special occasion or a gift. Excellent customer service replacing a broken bottle (Parcelforce's fault), good communication, no fuss, replaced in a couple of days. Nice people to deal with, definitely recommended.

   Have ordered 1959 Port, 1964 Madeira, 1970 Rivesaltes and 1970 Port over last 5 years for special celebrations. All arrived promptly and safely packaged. All were sublime. Had a recent issue with a still wine being corked. This was dealt with kindly and professionally within a couple of hours. Great service. Great products. Saving up for another special bottle.

   I purchased a bottle of wine from this company for my partners birthday for £100. When we opened it the cork was rotten and the wine undrinkable, brown vinegar. The wine was stored in a box I purchased from the company and kept in a dark, cool place on its side but vintage wine and port refused to provide a refund for a bottle of wine that is not fit for purpose. Their excuse copied from their response - “ I regret we are unable to offer a refund on a bottle that has been out of our care for over a year. Older wines are particularly delicate and, whilst they are stored in perfect cellaring conditions at VWP, they will degrade if not kept optimally and we cannot accept an indefinite liability for their development.” please see pictures - wine cannot degrade so badly 1 year after purchase.

   Bought the port advent calendar for my husband who was completely thrilled with the surprise. I thought I’d missed the first of December but delivery was extremely quick. The advent box is sturdy and looks nice. They’re small bottles but perfect to try the different ports. It’s been a lovely evening treat in the run up to Xmas. Definitely recommend this company too, communication was great and very efficient.

   Absolutely great people to buy from - very quick handling of enquiries, Dia managed to e-mail me pictures of the bottles i was after and allowed me to reserve and order online. Prompt delivery and very good packaging. I went for standard delivery and to my surprise my bottles were delivery the next day and with careful packaging. Most importantly - the vintage wines I bought were incredible! Highly recommend, Vintage Wine & Port is now on my monthly purchase list!

   Absolutely great company to buy from - very quick handling of enquiries, prompt delivery and very good packaging. unfortunately, despite the careful packaging, casing arrived cracked, within hours they posted a replacement which arrived next day - great customer care. Most importantly - the port I bought was gorgeous! Highly recommended.
