Great country park, gravel path and wookland walks. New outdoor play park for kids, big fields for bbqs and games. Great for dog walking. Big new cafe barn too, with crabbing nets on sale. Parking not free but standard for this kind of park. Walk down to the river side and pontoon pier is lovely. Crabing and water sports (kayaking and paddleboarding hire) on the river in the summer too.

One of the best country park nearby. The coffee shop is so pretty, the staff is so friendly and they have a reserved table for kids. The sessional trail is one of the best thing. I love the fact that you can go for family friendly crabbing or swimming or just for a long walk. I highly recommend this country park

Todayβs trip to Humble River Country Park with the kids was great fun: From the moment we arrived, the place had a calm feel, open skies, wide green spaces, and that gentle river welcoming you. The trails are easy to follow but still have that bit of adventure to them β perfect for kids to explore without getting truly lost. We spent a good while skipping stones by the river, then hit one of the bigger open fields for an impromptu football match. Plenty of space for it, and the grass was just the right kind: soft enough for diving tackles, tough enough not to turn into mud with a bit of rough play. Thereβs a quiet magic to Humble River: it feels real, not overdeveloped, not trying too hard. Just a place where nature takes the lead and youβre invited along for the ride.

I visited here with my disabled son recently. It has good parking spaces, ease of access to the cafe and toilet facilities. A handy map at the entrance to show accessible paths. Some I couldn't access (steps down to the beach) but always another time to venture back.on my own one day. Lovely views across the water and plenty of benches to rest on at many view points. A bonus of play apparatus for young children and picnic benches for families too. Parking a tad expensive at Β£5 for an hour....

The park is truly exceptional, offering a plethora of activities that cater to all interests, provided the weather cooperates. Whether it's exploring the farm, cycling, swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, or simply taking a leisurely walkβthere's something here for everyone. Pet owners will appreciate the dog-friendly paths, and families can enjoy a perfect day out with their children. The landscape is breathtaking, especially where the woods meet the river, creating a stunning backdrop for any activity. You can easily spend a couple of hours exploring without covering the same ground twice. The park includes a beach specifically for paddle boarding and kayaking. I've uploaded the pricing details and booking information in my pictures for convenience. The paths are well-maintained, making it a pleasure to walk, and you can even treat yourself to an ice cream halfway through your stroll. Additionally, there's ample parking available along the main road, adding to the convenience."

A nice place to come for a walk especially if you have a dog, although it is recommended that dog's are on leads. I did feel it was nice down by the river but the country park itself did have a bit of a man made feel and didn't feel as natural as it potentially could be. Finishing and starting at the carpark that has a large cafe called The Barn which hosts a dog cleaning unit at the back. On the actual walk there were lots of oak trees and one very large yew tree with what looked like an old wall at some point, and just further on there is a well so I'm not quite sure what the history is here but seems rather interesting.

We had a lovely day here playing in the park, walking, paddling and crabbing. 100% customer service from a young man in the cafe, he was very helpful and friendly willing to help us and listen to our needs!! The woman with blonde hair was not. Parking was Β£6. They could do with more in the park, no swings there and nothing for 1 and 2 year olds to play on safely.

Great spot for a walk or a picnic with access to the river hamble as a launch point for paddle boards/kayaks etc. Beautiful scenery. Parking is pretty expensive, I paid Β£6.00ish for 3 hours which seems steep. Good facilities, with refreshments, toilets, seating and dog wash at 'the barn'. There's a reasonable kids play area, which could be made bigger and better given the available space, in my opinion. Clean and tidy and plenty of space to park.

Very easily accessible from junction 8 of the M27. Some lovely walks with views across the river Hamble. The Barn at Barnfield is a nice new cafe on site. The cakes and coffee were lovely. Good for kids and adults alike.
