   DO NOT USE. Completely incompetent solicitors. Used Aplins for the purchase of our home. After sale complete, they admitted they had "overlooked" the need to obtain the FENSA for the doors and windows, HETAS for the log burner and NICEIC for the electrics. All of which we were left to sort, at a great cost, ourselves after purchase. Been a complete nightmare. Took to legal Ombudsman who found they had provided unreasonable service, however was awarded a measly £400 compensation. We paid Aplins a great sum of money to represent us, and regrettably trusted them with the purchase of our home. They are completely incompetent, and cannot accept their errors they made, hence having to go through the Ombudsman process. Can't imagine how much the company makes and solicitors earn, yet they would only pay us the compensation once Ombudsman instructed they had to. They overlooked basic criteria in our house purchase, probably for a quick sale, quick payment. AVOID USING. DO NOT TRUST.

They showed empathy whilst moving things forward for me professionally. A few years prior, Philip also managed my Father's POA, and delivered the same personal supportive service.
