Had our daughters 3rd birthday there. Everyone had a really good time. We had Sabah looking after us and she was wonderful. Thank you for a great day x

Taken the kids to soft play several times and unfortunately today it took well over 45 minutes for a bowl of cheesy chips, despite kindly asking a member of staff after half an hour where they were who didn’t even seem to understand at first but then they said it’ll be 5 minutes (more like 15!) it wasn’t ridiculously busy either. Don’t see how it took so long, but there was no apology when they were given :(

I recently went to take my nephew to Hickory Dickory’s Playhouse. The drive was nice & about 15-20minutes from where I live. Looks like you’re entering an industrial area but as you turn in you can see the play centre. Ample parking for cars & bigger parties of guests. I was actually surprised at the size of the place it was huge, so much space. The playhouse was lovely. Extremely quiet during the day which was absolutely fantastic as my nephew is 17months. Which means he is 1 years & 7 months. He played in the under 2s section which had clear signs for age appropriate play. Had the basic sensory play which you can’t go wrong with. It was nice & calm. They have clear signs displaying that children need to be supervised by adults that are accompanying them. Which is great information as sometimes it’s needed. Overall I think playhouses/ centres are great but it always depends on demand. If it is extremely busy it can be a sensory overload where having play time & then going to rest or have a snack or leave can be very difficult. They have high chairs for little ones, which is helpful & they have snack options at the canteen area. Personally I wasn’t a fan of the sandwiches, jam specifically. But everything else was fine. I did not end up using the baby changing area so therefore I cannot comment as of yet. We went at a quieter time so we had the play centre pretty much to ourselves. Decently priced for entry. Receptionist seemed nice & upon exit the staff we met was kind. I’ve seen some mixed reviews on staff, but from our first time experience it was normal. I will be going again, very soon & will have an update on my experience going with a larger group. We went on a Sunday, just after lunch time. Around 1:30pm started until 3:15pm.

My Children had a great time here. Perfect for all age groups I couldn't get my youngest out of the under 5's area. And my older kids said it was the best day ever! So thumbs up from me. The only downfall is the limited parking and you can't always get a table due to it being busy.

We went on a weekday, lovely soft play area, my son loves it. Perhaps remove the go karts as it’s really difficult keeping young children away from it. What I didn’t like was that there’s signs “ no outside food allowed”. There were few people who were eating food from outside the place. And I don’t mean the odd drink here or there. But a whole picnic style for themselves and children. It wasn’t even that busy that the staff couldn’t see. Myself and another parent found it annoying as we had to wait for ages for our order and we had hungry children. If you are going to make a rule, please enforce it. I didn’t want to spend £5 something on a dry sandwich. Could have made it better at home.

Awful experience. Dirty and overpriced. Paid £8.49 for my toddler and 1 adult. Asked to book online at the door to make it cheaper but I don’t think it was and the process was a pain. Section for toddlers is quite small although he enjoyed the slide and small ball pit that was pretty much it. Overcrowded and loud could not get anywhere to sit was a while. Took little one to wash his hand and the boys toilets were covered with pee, urinals not flushed. Highchair was so dirty I refused to use it. Food was expensive for what it was and in the end we left having been there maybe 40 min max not happy. Would not come here again. By far the worst Softplay I’ve been too.

This playhouse was great for our 16 month old boy. They have a wide variety of soft play ranging from babies to bigger kids. The different aged group soft play are also in different areas so we didn't feel the need to constantly worry about older kids running around our little boy. Food & drink from the cafe is reasonably priced but be aware they only accept card payments. There are limited tables and chairs available which some as a first come first serve basis. People do tend to place their belongings on the chairs then go into the soft play to 'reserve' the seating which can be frustrating. I highly recommend booking in advance. We booked online and when we arrived we were able to skip a queue of around 7-10 people who were having to wait for people to leave as they were paying at the door. The car park is small for the amount of people the centre can hold but we did notice some cars were parked on the street just outside of the car park in case you're struggling to find parking in the centre.

We visited without booking and turned up on a weekday after 3.30pm as it was opening and found the staff to be attentive, environment and soft play clean and working order. The cafe was good value, too. Deceptively spacious soft play area and ample sitting area for adults. Toilets, tables, high chairs were spotless too.
