I went here with 2 others and we had a great time. Everything was easy to understand and even though none of us had swung a baseball bat in our lives, we really enjoyed every minute of it. Staff were really friendly and it was great atmosphere. I also had the session booked for a couple of weeks prior but was unwell. I emailed to cancel and the speed of my refund was really appreciated and I was glad to have the chance to rebook so soon!
Had an awesome team night out at 1st Base Southampton! The baseball was such a laugh and way more fun than we expected. Big thanks to the two staff on shift – they were brilliant, really helpful and made the night even better. Drinks and shots were spot on too. Definitely coming back soon!
Really enjoyable birthday experience. Nicely run, simple non long winded guidence (but help always available if needed) we were up & batting in no time. The website was nice & easy to navigate when we booked. The current foosball table which was a nice addition (especially when waiting briefly for another group to finish) is a bit dated though & could do with an upgrade as a minor suggestion for improvement. All-in-all definitely would return!
Great fun and something different to do with mates. 3 of us went for an hour and hit about 80 balls each so you get plenty of goes for your money (£15pp) Staff were friendly, you could pick your own music to play and there's table football and a bar. All in all, a great little venue and a lot of fun! ⚾
Went with two of my mates for one of the hour long standard sessions. The experience is a lot of fun, well set up and the mood is just right. Staff was just the right level of helpful so as to leave us free to enjoy the experience while helping out whenever required. Was a fun way to spend an hour with some friendly competition and the whole thing is set up pretty well, it kind of reminds me of a driving range with a virtual setup. Price is maybe a little steep but I think it's worth it for a good laugh with friends doing something a little different.
I organised an evening social event here for my company. The reservation process was smooth and Janet was very helpful with ideas and suggestions. The actual event was great, and everyone enjoyed themselves. You're able to choose your own music and we also ordered pizzas from their affiliate brand, CRIB.
Had a really good hour in the cage although I only got 40 swings it's knackering!! Even with the party size that we had still got a good amount of time in the cage. Really looking forward coming back. A reasonable selection of alcoholic beverages.
