4hours58 minutes at Frimley Park today. Staff from reception , porters, cleaners, nurse assistants , nurses, doctors and consultants were absolutely brilliant. Every step was monitored, each stage was explained and all the staff in all sections were Human, supportive, encouraging and very sociable. If you have to require hospital treatment in Berkshire, I strongly recommend Frimley Park Trust Hospital.. 10/10

Would give 0 star if possible, 8 hours wait and staff telling us average wait is 3 hours is a complete joke, never been a&e and never will be going to this one again. Tax money definitely not being used correctly. Absolute joke.

Spent a night at A and E with chest pains. I was immediately triaged and had bloods taken and an ECG done within 10 minutes. Had a long wait because it was the middle of the night and there was a shift changeover. I was quite happy to wait though as if it was a heart issue then I was in the right place. Seen by a charming doctor who apologised for the waiting time. He patiently asked me to explain my condition. Put me on a series of meds to reduce my pain and make me more comfortable. He was happy for me to stay until the symptoms reduced considerably. Then arranged a follow up with my GP. All the staff were cheery and friendly offering hot and cold drinks. Well done Frimley A and E. Thank you.

For Pediatric A&E. Took my son who had trauma to his hand and was bleeding out to A&E in Frimley this afternoon. He was seen quickly for X-ray. Was then seen by the doctor who removed the dressing I had put on to stem the bleeding. She took pictures. She then left him there, sat on the bed, to bleed out with dressing the off. After a while a nurse came in and said she will put a dressing on. We asked for pain relief and she disappeared. After a while I stood in the doorway and all the staff were chatting. Eventually, a different nurse came over and said the same thing. That she will dress the wound by which time we said we were waiting for something to ease the pain for the dressing to be done. She then left, while his hand was still bleeding and soaking into the original dressing, the towel wrapped around his hand and his cloths. A while after that the doctor came back we were told to go to Wexham tomorrow at 10am for the plastics team to fix his hand. I asked for him to be seen today and she went away again to check if that was okay. He was still sat there with no pressure where the trauma was on his hand to stop the bleeding. Later they then come over because I was standing at the door again with some gas and air. Another while later the dressing is put on. I could see that there wasn’t enough pressure on the hand to stem the bleeding and I challenged that but the nurse said there was. Which… I could see there was not! They made us wait before leaving for Wexham and his hand is bleeding through the bandage again to sign a consent form for the pictures. Eventually we left made it to Wexham and instantly they did everything right and used blood clotting dressing to try and stem the bleeding while waiting for plastics.

We visited Frimley Park Hospital’s Child A&E on Saturday night for our son’s tummy bug, and we couldn’t be more grateful. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were warm and efficient, making us feel at ease. The nurses and doctor were incredibly kind, smiling, and supportive, taking the time to explain everything and comfort our son. Their care was exceptional, and we felt so well looked after. Thank you to the amazing team for turning a stressful night into a positive experience! Highly recommend Frimley Park A&E

Sat for 6.5hrs until 2:30am (with another 2hrs + to wait) with daughter with back/stomach pain in tears/distress, she was absolutely exhausted, couldn’t wait any longer had to virtually carry her out of A&E home without seeing Dr. Over crowded (to much house building), badly laid out, badly managed, Under resourced. The very rare time needed ‘Emergency’ help it’s Disgraceful.

This has got to be the slowest hospital on the planet, a man came in out of a ambulance literally just suffering from heart failure *heart attack* me and my mrs are sitting here first time parents uncertain if our baby is still alive or not as my mrs started to spot bleed, matey with the heart attacks gone home he’s probably brown bread bless him and I’m sitting here still 8 hours later, this places runs off of priority but the priority seem to be a genuine crack head, a girl who bumped her head at the night club and another women singing along to music having the time of her life! Hospital is a joke and would much rather drive into London emergency or not, please avoid this hospital or expect to sit in reception for 10+ hrs! ABSOLUTELY APPALLING VERY disappointing

I was asked to go to Frimley Park A & E by my GP. My blood pressure was extremely high and my GP was concerned. When I checked in I was informed that my Husband could not stay with me as they had a mixed waiting room of COVID and non Covid patients. It is a disgrace that Frimley Park feel they can Mix everyone together. Surely anyone being checked in for breathing, chest, coughs etc should be directed to another waiting room. no wonder COVID is rising again. in all the 9 hours that I was there I did not see a consultant once. MY blood pressure, removal of my cannula and discussion of my case was all done in front of other patients in the waiting room. My GP asked in her letter to the hospital that a series of ECGs were done. I received one. Whilst in Triage it would have made more sense to have taken bloods and sent them off, therefore cutting down my waiting time. The Right hand does not know what the Left hand is doing. Total shambles. The waiting area was so cold I had to ask my Husband to come back and bring me a coat. They allowed me to come home with an higher BP than when I went in. The next day I went to my GP to get my tablets tweaked, She said that she had received an email from Frimley Park stating they had given me Amlodipine to help bring my blood pressure down. I explained that i had received no medication whatsoever. I never ever want to go there again if I can help it.

I've given 3 stars as my injury was dealt with efficiently. Having sat in the waiting room and then the corridor on my own for nearly 5 hours (which I expected) I was disappointed that in what is supposed to be the caring profession, that there was no eye contact, a smile or even an acknowledgement (except for 1 very friendly porter) the whole time I was there. This was not due to being too busy, as they had time to talk amongst themselves in between patients. Which I honestly do not begrudge. But I feel this would go a long way to making people more at ease in this situation.

Excellent service, after coming in with chest pains this morning I was triaged extremely quickly and then sent off for an x-ray. I was even offered tea and coffee whilst I waited for the results which was completely unexpected. All staff were polite, courteous and extremely professional. You should all be very proud of the excellent job you're doing. Many thanks for looking after me.
