We stayed for 4 nights location was Ideal if visiting Lapland UK in Ascot 20 minutes drive. Train station was walking distance if wanting to travel into London 1 hour 20 minutes train ride to Waterloo. Rooms were cleans, staff very helpful and nothing was a problem. We only ate one evening at the Bar & Block as menu was limited, but breakfast was good a bonus that kids eat breakfast free.

Extremely disappointed! Been moving and was travelling past this hotel late in the evening, so I decided to book a room for the night. When we arrived, we discovered that for some reason the website had booked us for December instead of November. We asked if the booking could be moved to that night, but were told the hotel was full. We then requested a refund and were informed that we were not eligible for one because of the room type we had selected. Not the end of the world, but when I called customer service to discuss the issue, the experience got even worse. I ended up in an argument with the representative because she couldn’t understand me due to a slight language barrier. I called back again to complain about both the situation and the previous call, but all I received was a repeated apology and the same script: I couldn’t get a refund, though I could cancel the booking (and still receive no money back). There was no concern shown about the poor customer service I had just experienced. In short: I will not be booking with Premier Inn again.

It was all going so well until breakfast. Parking was free. Check in was easy using the machine as there was initially no member of staff to physically check us in. Room was clean and very comfortable. Shower pressure was great and there was no stupid flow limiter on the taps which was excellent to see in a Premier Inn for once. The aircon worked great too. Up until this point, I thought this was an excellent example of a Premier Inn. The slight letdown was breakfast however. There was no buffet and service to order our food was quite slow, though staff were pleasant. I've never been to a premier inn that doesn't do a buffet, even the premier inn hubs do a small buffet. We got given a menu that's claims breakfast is unlimited but it clearly isn't as they take the menu away once you've ordered and psychologically, it's unlikely that people would ask for more. Our breakfast did come out in good time despite just one guy in the kitchen. I'm guessing they do it this was to eliminate waste but given that this will mostly serve business customers in the week who will be in a hurry to get moving I do bugrudge the lack of self serve which I've expected to be the norm with a premier inn (and given check in is largely self serve too).

Sunday lunch for 62nd. wedding anniversary 29th.September Service was dreadful had to keep asking to be served Server missed 2 guests out main course so had to wait for meal whilst rest eating? Ordered fish & chips for 2 year old grear grandson. Fish was'nt cooked properly, sent it back only for it to return same as before. We used to really enjoy sunday lunches hear but sadly will be looking elsewhere in the future.

I’ve been here twice now and the staff are really friendly and clearly a strong team. I had the truffle burger and chips option in the meal deal with the room and it was gorgeous. The burger was cooked just right, the chips crisp and fluffy, the mushroom done just right so it wasn’t leaking juice everywhere. Staff were attentive and genuinely seemed to take pride in the service they offered.

Stayed at the Premier Inn at Winnersh Reading for 2 nights. Have stayed in many Premier Inn's at various locstion, however this was far best for the breakfast. A fantastic selection of cereals, fresh pastries, bread, crumpets, pancakes, muffins, croissants ect. Cooked breakfast was cooked fresh to order and was huge. Everything was kept topped up before running out and there was plenty of friendly and helpful staff on hand. Very impressed. Bed wasn't the most comfortablest, but then there's nothing like your own bed

Booked this for a night stop over. We usually book travel lodge but decided to give it a try. Nice big room very pleasant lighting. We booked breakfast which was pleasantly served. Help yourself to cereals etc. Well presented and hot and very enjoyable. How busy the place was shows the popularity and value. Over all experience was very pleasant we will use again

I recently stayed at this hotel with my boys. One of my boys fell poorly during the night and the staff were absolutely amazing! I can not thank them enough! They were so helpful, polite and friendly. They gave us extra towels and asked if they could call a doctor or ambulance. The manager at the restaurant allowed us to take breakfast upstairs, she plated the food and wrapped it in foil, she was wonderful! I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. It’s near the M4, great staff and there’s a costa coffee and showcase cinema near by.
