The hotel is stunning with high ceilings, spacious room and modern fittings. We also held a 'Traitors' experience in their dining room which was amazing. Special thanks to Kathy, Sue and Zoe. “Had a flyer through my door with great photo's of their Thai food, so I thought I would try them. I thought my Thai Green curry was pretty good but after having one from their menu I was amazed ! it was stunning, so good I went back the following week and then also with the girlfriend and then the following weekend with 2 friends, we were all very very impressed with the superb menu stunning food and great service, give them a try you will not be disappointed. “I’ve been here twice now and the staff are really friendly and clearly a strong team. I had the truffle burger and chips option in the meal deal with the room and it was gorgeous. The burger was cooked just right, the chips crisp and fluffy, the mushroom done just right so it wasn’t leaking juice everywhere. Staff were attentive and genuinely seemed to take pride in the service they offered.”

“The initial review, submitted on Friday, conveyed dissatisfaction regarding a £75 charge for an early check-in, which was two hours prior to the standard check-in time. It is important to clarify that only one room was booked, not two. Furthermore, our arrival was not at 12:30; however, the primary reason for the negative review was the perceived rudeness of the individual I spoke with over the phone. Moving forward, following my stay at the hotel on Saturday, I was granted both an early check-in and a late check-out, which was greatly appreciated. The staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism and hospitality. The hotel maintains a high standard of cleanliness and offers a diverse selection of culinary options, including a main menu and a breakfast buffet. I highly recommend this establishment and would certainly choose to stay here again. My sincere thanks to the entire team for their accommodating service.”

“On arrival a beautiful entrance, we stayed in our own campervan so I can’t comment on chalets. We arrived at 18.30 and reception was closed , the gate code allowed us access , and our pitch was easy to find , each pitch is beautifully marked with a very clear number so there is no confusion, on what’s yours .Site is well maintained, and although there was work in progress, we feel that this can only improve a lovely site with a fantastic lake , walks children’s play area pet and cycle friendly.”

“We attended the fabulous Winterwonderland Ball in the Marquee. The Alpine bar was such fun, and the food absolutely amazing considering there wer 200 guest. We upgraded our room and it was lovely x Breakfast is the very best produce sausages and bacon outstanding x”

“The most welcoming B&B we've stayed in. John was over and above welcoming and accommodating to everyone staying there. We overheard one couple requesting porridge which wasn't on display and then watched as he went to local shop to get some as supplies had run out. Not many hosts would go to those lengths. Nothing was too much trouble and he has a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area too which was really helpful. The room was really comfortable and clean and the gardens were spectacular to sit and relax in. We couldn't have asked for better service and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - thank you to John and the team at Elizabeth House.”

“We approached Chris at Waterloo Travel to put together a bespoke trip for us to Scotland. We knew we wanted to see a few key sites but didn't know which way to do them, where to stay or what would be best in terms of travel arrangements. Chris was able to step up and help with all of that. He pulled together an incredible plan featuring all of the spots we wanted to see plus some extras we hadn’t thought of to include. He even managed to get us on some alternative transport methods including the Caledonian Sleeper train to Scotland – which is a must! He found some incredibly beautiful B&B’s for us to stay in, guest houses and hotels. It was a real mixture of accommodation that gave us the flexibility to see all the sites, eat and drink in different places and experience all Scotland has to offer. Chris really made the whole planning process easy and stress free! I can’t wait to book our next adventure with Waterloo travel.”

“Pleasant, helpful service from all staff members. Convenient location. I visited on a hot sunny weekend and each time I returned from a day out there was no trouble finding a parking bay. Good car parking facility. I can't comment on food as I did not eat there. TV, kettle and drinks facility, shower gel and towels provided in the room. Also provided was a fan, thankfully, as was a heatwave, so it was a blessing indeed. No hairdryer or iron, but I understand you only had to ask at reception if one was required. Good shower. Bed was OK, but didn't like the pillow at all and the loo seat was askew and needed fixing, but good room at a good price deal for three nights. I would stay again as there were no issues and it was very handy for the railway station for Windsor & Eton.”
