Please, please, please Bring Tataki back, was the best thing to happen to Wokingham. Enjoyed eating in the pub with a couple of cold ones. Hope you can sort out the disputes and mutually benefit from the increased business and premises

Rosie made me an incredible jacket potato today, I had the pulled pork spud with cheese and chilli butter. Lovely chat and even better food 10/10 see you next week!

We came on a Monday evening and had a really lovely time. Nice pub garden with a rustic vibe. Very good value for some enjoyable drinks!

Came here with a few mates because of a recommendation, we went out to the garden because it was quite stuffy inside, and when we went inside to order a few drinks, the person behind the bar just decides to kick us out because we "don't look 18" even though we are all 18, have ID, and are willing to show. But they didn't care, just asked us to leave instantly. Would not recommend at all. A practically empty pub that kick out the few people willing to buy there. Edit, responding to their response: We are a group of 5 18 year olds just finished college and went out to celerbrate. We went in and went out to the back as its currently boiling in the UK for about 15 minutes and didnt make any disturbance as some young people do, while 2 people went the loo. We went back in to play pool and order drinks when we asked for change for the pool table we were questioned and told we were suspicous because we "hid" outside and in the bathroom, but we were all willing to provide ID's immediately and was told it wasn't good enough and to leave. This is exactly what happened. Another edit: it's sad to see a business that's clearly struggling (3.9 stars, only had two customers besides us) act so hostile towards the few people willing to go there. We were all more than happily to show valid ID, but it seems you either don't care, or can't tell a fake one from a real one (concerning). They then have the audacity to call this a "fake review" despite it being a completely genuine review. I would not recommend anyone to go to this pub, they don't deserve the business

A nice pub with a cozy environment and friendly staff. There is a good selection of drinks at a reasonable price.

Poor value for money compared to other venues I've stayed in for similar money. Hotel room generally grubby and dusty. There was no food available in the evening. I'd used the fact they served food when making the booking............ Disappointed.

Probably one of the worst places I've ever been. The general feel on it was sordid and not clean at all. The WC and shower installations seems to be a joke (maybe if you are not over 1 meter tall will be able to have a shower). I'll absolutely not recommend it even to my worst enemy. At least, people working there was gentle.

Recently moved into the area. Great place, very friendly and a proper old skool fill to the establishment, always someone to chat to and the owners are great. Had liver and bacon the other night and it was cook to my liking. For a local, it doesn't get any better. All staff are great and very welcoming. Keep up the good work. Barry

It's OK - give it a go! Decent beer, seems to be well kept. Great pub grub, reasonably priced, they'll make anything for you so long as they have the ingredients - just ask. Friendly landlord and regulars. And there's Eric, who is just so angry to be a pug dog, you just got to love him! Don't worry - he may grumble when he first sees you, but he's a softy really. It's a bit "kitchen table" in one end, but the bar and snug are much more comfortable.

I called on Wednesday trying to book rooms for next week as my family are visiting the area for a funeral. Four rooms in total. They said they would hold rooms as there was availability but they had to check a couple of things. I was promised a call back the following day, as the systems were down but did not receive one. I called again on Thursday. Noone could help but was promised a call. No one called back. Called Friday lunchtime and was told maybe they had the wrong number (I had double checked the number on both previous occasions). The lady I spoke to then read out my number in full correctly with the exception of one, deliberately I assume to avoid culpability. I called in the evening to be told the rooms that been held had been sold. Most unimpressed and my perception is an incredibly unprofessional outfit.
