I have been to the Frog and Wicket a couple of times in the past, but only for a jar or two. This time we ventured there with friends for Sunday lunch. I have to say l was really impressed! The food offering was expansive and the quality was spot on. The service from Sophie was exceptional (thank you). I'll definitely back in the near future.

Ate at the Frog and Wicket two days in a row last week. Blown away by the quality, presentation and price. Went for the Mon-Fri 2or3 course menu (18.59 or 23.50 respectively) which was outstanding. The chef clearly takes immense pride in their work, the staff were delightful and very polite and attentive. This place does not serve your traditional ok food. This is top drawer. Thank you.

I had high hopes as the menu looked quite nice but as soon as the starter arrived, I was disappointed. The chicken wings just tasted of spicy vinegar; Not a pleasant start for £8.50. The beef roast was mainly fat, as pictured. The roast potatoes tasted very old and didn't have a nice after taste. The Yorkshire pudding was light and fresh though. The one carrot and parsnip was also nice but I expected more for over £20 for a roast. I didn't stay for dessert after the big let down. We won't be coming back sadly

Cool spot during a summer evening cycle. Second visit (31 Aug) Lovely vibe inside. Pretty cool to see all the cricket memorabilia. And to also see live cricket across the road. Rustic basin in the bathroom..awesome!

We all really enjoyed our meals, a very cheery server. Our food was bought quickly and was universally enjoyed. There were a few minor niggles, such as no coffee available due to faulty machine (these things happen) but not enough to spoil our enjoyment.

Nice pub for a quick drink today on the way home. Friendly staff and dogs welcome. Only thing I didn't like was the ladies toilets. The minute you opened the door it stank of sewage and made me feel really queasy. Plus the toilets were freezing cold. I thought perhaps at first it could be cabbage smells from the kitchen? I had to use the loo again just before we left to go home and the same smell was there 45 mins later so I think the plumbing needs to be looked at as it is really unpleasant.

Last night, family meal. The order was wrong and my husband meal was out after we had all finished. (I know this can happen)The kids pasta for £6.50 was so small, cold and just cheap! Worth about 5p to make, not even a proper kids menue with 3 courses, over priced and cheap food. We used come here a lot and the food had gone down hill. Won't be eating here again, very expensive for cheap and cold meal.

Outrageous. Poorest Sunday roast experience ever. I would be happy with small portions if it was quality food. But everything was overcooked and in and presented roast was overcooked and not really well presented - see pictures. Plant based nut roast £15.5 Norfolk roast chicken £17.5 It might be a great option for a summer drink, but not for Sunday roast :(

Very disappointed Sunday roast. I ordered roast chicken and was presented with a dry piece of chicken with two potatoes. The best thing of the pub are the staff and playground for kids. Roast for £18 ponds was a joke. Quality and quantity was ridiculous. Go elsewhere for food.
