   The Bath Hotel 2 Night Stay in a Deluxe Studio - nothing deluxe about it! Paid £300, plus £30 parking (for 2 days) plus a £50 deposit which is yet to be refunded. Total of £380. The room was absolutely disugting! There was not a surface without a stain. The white bedsheets, the floors, the cupboard doors, all stained. We went out and purchased our own blankets and slept on top of the bedding. As well as slippers so we didn’t have to touch the floor with our bare feet. We went out and purchased our own cleaning materials to clean the room and the bathroom extensively. After getting the courage and attempting to shower, the water ran bright orange for minutes and took 10-15 minutes to even warm up. There was a spider nest in the bathroom, dirt on each tile and in the grout, and heavy mould. Aside from the lack of cleanliness, the room layout was unsafe. There was a bedside cabinet behind the entrance door, so it would only just about open enough to get in with our suitcase - not exactly fire safe?! In terms of appliances we had a tv and a fridge. A fridge that was so disgusting we wouldn’t put anything in. At a minimum we hoped there would have been a kettle so we could have gone out and purchased tea and coffee supplies but no. I could not stress enough to anyone thinking of booking here, DO NOT DO IT! We were absolutely desperate otherwise we would have had to sleep in our car. The Bath Hotel really need to review their cleanliness and fire safety standards, and maybe go and do some research about what a ‘Deluxe Studio’ should be like!!

   On arrival the receptionist seemed disinterested in his job, I went for one night and managed 4hrs sleep due to noisy people. The room was adequate bathroom was dirty and had mold. Went to have a shower and took mat out which was dirty as shown in photo. There was mold around blind in window and on grouting as shown in the photos.

   +were very helpful in accommodating us at extremely short notice. Room clean and comfortable. Bathroom good size again clean. Beds very comfy. Enjoyable breakfast served with a smile. Stayed Thursday and returned Saturday . Only small hitch was unable to connect to WiFi Will definitely return. Thanks Alex

   Check in was rather slow and the room was poorly laid out. Room was sorely in need of a lick of paint and there was damp on the ceiling, bed was clean and comfortable though. Free car parking space was a big positive and 15 min walking distance to town centre.
