   These positive reviews must be fake. This is not up to the standards of a 1 star hotel. I’ve been placed here by the council and been here for 6 weeks. The room has not been cleaned once since I’ve been here, in fact I had to ask to borrow the hoover. There are flies in the room everyday. The bedding on the single camper bed is disgusting. It is so old that is has definitely got to be below safety standards. I requested my bedding to be changed and had to argue as they only send the sheets once every 2 weeks and apparently are only allowed to send 6 sets for 12 rooms. Why write this review? Because the council are flooding this place with homeless people whilst helping them on yet the owners seem to be quite unaware of the impact of the council stopped this endless conveyer belt of over payment. What a waste of public money and a disgrace of a hotel. If there was a rating for below zero then I’d provide that. Now you’ve seen how people see your hotel. Perhaps you could take emotion out and look at this as a business ? The next review is to a board of standards with photographic and video evidence ! As for continental breakfast. You have a loaf of bread in the fridge, you do not open the kitchen daily at a sensible time either.

   Seen as I was living in a industrial unit with half a roof, they took me in knowing that they wouldn't get paid for weeks, the checking in was quick, my room is clean, the duvet is good as new, all of bathroom, shower and toilet, sink, clean towels, working tv, in all its been a quiet, comfortable stay. Recommend it to anyone.

   Spent a night here because it was the only affordable hotel at the time of booking. Was dreading it because of the reviews, but my were they all wrong! Bed,shower and room were extremely clean to a high standard. Parking is free! I'll be staying here again when my football team play Reading.

   I went in to the hotel to be greeted by a rude man with no neck , it was awful. The place looked dodgy but we thought nothing of it until we got to our room and found a bird poo on our bed! It was huge. When we left shortly after to get our money back we realised the owner had 4 toes which I was horrified to see. Awful Service.
