   My friend was admitted to the Royal Berkshire Hospital. I needed a place to stay close by. I haven't stayed in a 2 star Hotel before but was pleasantly surprised. The twin room we were in-the first night and the single( double bed) I was in for 3 nights were tidy and clean with a fridge and microwave. Crockery and cutlery television and ensuite shower room were great. Breakfast was good and cheap, I only had one evening meal a curry it was good. The staff were fantastic and nothing too much trouble. I cannot single one out as they were all fantastic. Would definitely stay again

   I came to Reading for a 3 days course. Stayed one night everything seemed fine. After a long day on the course I come to my hotel room (asked for room to be cleaned in the morning) to find a big brown stain on my bed (can only imagine what it is). I ask the manager for compensation and she’s having none of it. She also claimed that the cleaning crew had just left and says the sheets are cleaned every 5 days. On top of that the bathroom stunk of sewage and the phone in the room didn’t even work. DONT STAY HERE!

   I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting much for the price I paid, but the room was nice, clean, aired and not stuffy. Bathroom was in good shape as well. Little shower gel and hand soap was provided. The room had a fridge, microwave, some plates and cutlery, and mugs as well as basic coffe and tea options. Athough I'd suggest adding a tea towel or something to put the washed dishes on . The only downside was very loud fridge, it actually woke me up at night There is plenty of parking spaces. I booked with breakfast, good option to choose from even gluten/dairy free options were provided Definitely recommend

   Exceptional value for a Reading hotel. Rooms are basic but very comfortable with every facility you could need. But above all, this place is standout because of the staff. Truly wonderful hospitality with everyone going the extra mile to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Wonderfully attentive to all the guests needs. This is how hospitality should be done. Special shout-out to Ryan from the last visit. Huge thank you to you all for looking after our family.

   This is a really lovely hotel. My daughter her friend and I just needed a place for the night and we booked the Sure Hotel at a very reasonable price for a triple room. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The room was spotless and the sheets and duvets lovely. The old building is lovely and traditional and it was in a pretty area of Reading. The staff were really helpful and we all slept like logs. I would really recommend staying here, it may be a little bit tired but so lovely to be in a traditional building and lovely, but basic rooms but all one needs. Plenty of parking too, all so easy. Book here it is great!

   Nice, clean hotel with good in room facilities (tv, kettle, fridge, microwave, dishes etc). Staff members are professional with good customer service skills. Reasonably priced hotel, located near to main city centre with free car parking facility on site.

   The hotel has obviously had a lot of decorating done and it is a very nice place. The staff were friendly and check in was very quick. Free parking with plenty of space and a 20 minute walk to the town centre. Our standard double room was quite"cosy" but it was only for a night so no problem. We had one minor issue with the sink which was reported and hopefully was sorted(only needed a seal on the sink plug) as it's fiddly having a shave in a sink that doesn't hold water! Overall very good value and will use again when visiting family in Reading.

   Stayed in room 105, bathroom door wouldn't shut, & when it did shut it wouldn't open. Realised all the screws were either loose or missing in the door handles, did report to the gentleman on the desk as we were about to leave.
