Really great informative course with loads of useful practical demonstrations from Gem the midwife. Gem is friendly and approachable and has really helped to put our minds at ease. Highly recommend to anyone becoming a parent for the first time!
Gem created a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere throughout the course. She had a wealth of knowledge to give and happy to answer and questions you could think of. Me and my husband feel much better prepared for the exciting journey ahead after completing the course. It was lovely to meet others who were at similar stages in their pregnancy and the organising of a reunion once weve all had are babies will be lovely.
We were recommended Gemma by two different sets of friends and we will 100% be doing the same to any future parents-to-be. The knowledge we came away with really helped two nervous soon-to-be first time parents, and Gemma answered all of our questions professionally (no matter how daft they were!). Overall, for 10 complete strangers coming together, Gemma made it a safe and engaging environment, and one both my husband and I would wholeheartedly recommend.
Wonderful class that is very informative and gave relevant useful information. Lovely class to go along to that feels relaxed and no pressure on any physical activities. Gemma is great and shares real life experiences as a midwife.
As a first time mum these classes were absolutely invaluable to me and my husband. We found the classes provided us with the know how of how to plan for labour, encouraged my husband to be my advocate right through to nappy changes and washes. Gem has been a huge support for me in the latter stages of my pregnancy and into the early weeks of motherhood and I don’t doubt she will be there is I need her in the future. She is so knowledgable and her time in the NHS as a midwife really shows in everything she does in the groups. Not only has Gem given us the knowledge to make the early weeks of parenthood that little easier she has bought new friends into my life, which when you’re stuck is such a huge help in being able to offload, be supported and share ideas with each other. I would honestly recommend these groups to any parents-to-be! Gem you’re amazing! X

Really good classes, we had a great time and found them really useful. Gemma is an engaging teacher and enthusiastic, always happy to answer questions. It is so useful to have the benefit of a local midwife who can give you information relevant to your hospital and Trust. Thank you!
Great classes, can’t recommend highly enough. Really helped me deal with the pre-baby nerves! Gem was so helpful, always providing additional tips and advice…she answered all my questions so comprehensively (no matter how daft they were!), I felt that little bit more prepared to take on the exciting challenge ahead. Since we’ve had our little one, she’s been great at keeping everyone from the classes in touch and helped us to form a great little community of new parents.
