I bought an EE SIM card from your store WHsmith. But she sold it after it expired. I asked for a refund, they still haven't. Please don't buy an EE SIM card from this store.
Really amazing customer service, boy with dark hair and big boots on helped me pick a sandwich as I was struggling to decide, went for ham and cheese in the end. Was a little on the pricey side but honestly customer service really made up for it and I would go back even if I didnt have a flight, to be honest.
The androgynous boy did a really good job helping me pick a magazine and a meal deal, made my flight experience that much better.
It's gotten very poor cost wise. I needed some water as was a hot day for once in April, It's now £4.29 for 500ml bottle of water. Stay clear as not good value
The meal deal was £5 which is absolutely unacceptable, and it was dry. Now my wife just left me because of a dry Mexican bean wrap, thanks WHSmiths.
The young man refused to help at the till, he pointed us to the self service till. When we needed a bar code for one of the items, he found a wrapped item, when my wife asked him if she could instead have the item he found, he refused saying he needed to keep it for the bar code, but returned it to the shelf. His attitude needs adjusting, this was poor service. Very disappointed in WH Smith’s
Beware of Meal Deal.......Three times ive chosen items from the shelves with 'I'm in the Meal Deal' clearly labelled and got to the counter to find out that they are not. This time i would have paid over £8 instead of £3.99 and when confronted they just blame someone else and walk away, not even bothering to actially move the items or making it more obvious. We're not talking about the odd item being moved by another costumer it is the labell and multiple items like it is supposed to look like it's in the deal. Trading standards would have a field day
Three times I've voiced my opinion about them purposely putting non-meal deal items of high value into the areas clearly labelled 'meal deal' and every time I'm met with shock and 'it's not me, we just do what head office tell us'.... kind of attitude and yet they still don't move items around. They are so used to the passing passengers not noticing that they are happy to defraud on a grand scale. Be warned
Food, Candy, alcoholic and non- alcoholic drinks. mix of books, newspapers and magazines. Beauty and drug store articles. greeting cards, toys, games, stationery, DVDs and CDs.They have a lot and ask reasonable prices for an airport shop.
