   Had a wonderful bird of prey experience with Harry. One hour of flying a selection of birds from small to large. Harry was very knowledgeable and shared loads on interesting information about the birds as individuals and the species as a whole. You get entrance to the wildside for the day and can have a hand stamp to go in and out during the day to use other amenities onsite.

   Arrived in good time at Millers farm and already a strong queue of people waiting to commence the walk around the site. Very colourful display and some fresh ideas that I thought were cleverly displayed. The only downer was that the merry go round charged a full rate ride for a baby. Don't get me wrong three pounds is not a lot of money these days but come on guys.

   Had an amazing night at Illuminate. It was an amazing display,well worth the visit. Everything was so well organized and the stewards around the display area were so helpful. I walk with a stick and a couple of them shone their torches so I could safely move on. Everything about the night was amazing and will definitely go back there next year.

   We loved Millets! Booked a reptile experience which included general entry. It’s not very big and quite compact to walk around but has some great things to see and we watched the skunks, Coco and Chanel being fed. They also have flying displays so factoring in that you could spend a couple of hours there, even longer given the whole Millets Farm set up. The half our Reptile Experience we interesting and informative and we held four snakes, who were very lively given it was so hot!

   As a hobbyist photographer I was gifted a photography day voucher for Millets Wildside. They have an amazing selection of birds on site and James who hosted the group was brilliant. He talked about the birds and had them pose for both static shots and flight shots. This wasn't a guided session as such but he explained the flight path of each bird beforehand and put them on stands with natural backdrops rather than the grey sky we had on the day. Superb day out and got some great photos from it. Highly recommend to anyone

   We booked a meerkat experience for two, and absolutely loved it. So so worth the money, and we got to get up close interacting with the animals so much more than we expected. The lady running the session was extremely knowledgeable and we couldn't possibly fault it. Along with getting to see the rest of the animals, its definitely a 10/10 from us! Also stopped off at the farm shop on the way out and got some really nice snacks for a reasonable price. Despite driving over an hour each way for this, we are definitely definitely returning, probably to do the same again and possibly the racoon experience too. Thanks so much to the whole team!

   Owl Handling Experience - a bird lover’s dream! The experience was wonderful - the handlers were very knowledgable and welcoming and the owls (and other birds of prey) were beautiful and well trained. And it is 100% true what they say - Esteban is the Besteban! Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to come again!

   Visited today to feed the Meerkats.. The lady who gave the talk about the Meerkats whilst we were feeding them was very informative and told us some interesting facts about them. We were able to walk around after to look at the various Birds & Animals followed by a Falconry show at 1pm which was also very informative and very much worth another visit. Thanks so much for great day out x
