   We came here second time. This time we tried more things.. We tried spa treatment and it was above expectations!! We also paid for private hot tub and sauna and it was absolutely great!! Food was top class, we really enjoyed it! Staff was super friendly and always with a smile! The only thing we would suggest to improve is light in gaming room. We will definitely be back again. Thank you and Merry Christmas!!! ❤️

   DJ'd here for the first time last month. Friendly staff and with the bar next to the dance floor, helped keep the party flowing. Check out videos from my weddings at this venue and others on my instagram.

   Stayed for work and probably in the most affordable rooms they have. A small double, well appointed but probably getting near to needing a refresh. I had no complaint but I wouldn't describe the room I had as 4star. The rest of the hotel though is lovely. Staff are very friendly, polite etc. The building is stunning, the dining room has great views. Old school service during our meals. Food was of very high standard and I wouldn't hesitate to go there for a meal.

   I didn't feel that the breakfast was good value for money, especially since the cold meats and cheese were not out for self-service. The pastry selection at breakfast was quite sad in terms of variety and quality. The room was immaculate and the bathroom was spacious, with an excellent shower. I personally found the mattress and pillows to be too soft, but this is very much my own preference. The staff were great -- really friendly and really helpful. Bar space was clean and tidy, with a good array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

   We stayed here a few days before Christmas before going away on holiday, Nicola on reception was very friendly and welcoming, she explained everything to us, a lovely lady, We had a lovely meal in the restaurant which we couldn’t fault. We also enjoyed sitting by the fire with a drink and a game of snooker in the boys room. The rooms were lovely and spacious and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel was absolutely spotless. Looking forward to returning soon.

   Had a Wellness morning at the spa. Fantastic staff in the spa. The facilities could do with a bit of TLC, especially the outdoor hot tub and sauna. I had a massage which was incredible. All finished off with a lovely afternoon tea. Very good value.

   This place is great. I arrived hours before check-in and they were very friendly, providing me with a space to change while my room was still being cleaned. I then had a 4am check-out and they were very accommodating, making it an easy departure while I was still half asleep. Would 100% recommend.

   My wife and I were made very welcome at reception with a cheery young lady. The room was very clean and had all you needed and just the right size for two. The leisure activities were good, and the staff were excellent and very helpful, even the leisure members were very nice to us, brilliant. All dining staffs were brilliant, and nothing was too much for them they bent over backwards to help you. In the boy's room my wife and I enjoyed playing snooker and liked all the pictures all round the walls even in the house very satisfactory. All in all, right down to the chambermaids were very kind, helpful to my wife and me. We had a wonderful time. Thanks to all at Thainstone House.

   Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very nice. The hotel interior is way overdue some freshening regarding decor, carpets throughout the hotel. On entering the hotel you are hit with the smell of something very old and unkept. As far as the pricing,, I will not be returning here when there are nicer cleaner better maintained hotels at much more competitive rates.
