   I had a surgery and overnight stay here on the 8th October and the staff and service were absolutely incredible. I was given so much information and felt like everything was covered but not at a pace too fast. No questions were too much you know! Some of the healthcare/nursing team that looked after me were so amazing. They didn't just want to check sats and make sure medically i was fine, they made sure I was comfortable, my bed was clean etc too. I'd recommend this place to everyone ❤️

   I did a blood test two weeks ago and have been waiting for my results since then. I tried emailing and calling several times, but the team only told me verbally that the doctor says everything is fine. However, I have not received the official clinic letter or the actual blood test results, which I urgently need to follow up with my GP overseas since I am only here for a few months. When I had my blood taken, the process was painful and unprofessional. The staff struggled, using different needles to complete the procedure, which made me question their level of experience. As healthcare providers, I believe professionalism, proper communication, and basic patient rights should always be respected. I sincerely hope to receive my full results soon. Patients deserve timely updates and clear communication, especially when it concerns their health.

   Asked for a price for an appointment 4 weeks ago. No response. Better off going to the Nuffield. Same Doctors. Better staff. And you don't have to go the hellhole that is the Royal Derby Hospital with it's parking chaos.

   I had a 1 night stay at Derby private health for laparoscopy sleeve surgery, the facilities were great, spacious and clean rooms. The staff were all amazing both at my pre opp and whilst I was in overnight they couldn't do enough to help and make sure you were comfortable. They checked on me regularly after my opp to do OBS and were never a minute late. They made my operation go without a hitch. Thank you!

   I had surgery through tonic but at derby private health hospital. My surgery was 8/10/22 and I really can’t praise the hospital enough. From arriving at the hospital at 7am, I was greeted by a lovely lady who showed me to my room, after that every member of staff that looked after me was so professional and lovely. Nothing was to much trouble, my room was clean and comfortable. My surgeon Waleed Al Khyatt called me the day before my surgery to make sure all was okay, and I met him on the morning before I had surgery, what a lovely man, and an amazing surgeon. He came to see me when I was in the recovery room, and in my room after the surgery and the day after, so caring and professional in what he does, my surgery was a challenge but Waleed Al Khyatt successfully did it, and I can’t thank him enough. I’m looking forward to living my life, so thank you. I would highly recommend derby private health. Thank you all xx

   Don't waste your time. Applied for an appointment on 18/08/22 and got an appointment by post for 31/08/22, then another for 01/09/22 and then another for 14/09/22, almost 4 weeks from my initial enquiry. No explanation or indication of why the earlier appointment had been cancelled. Have wasted 2 weeks of trying to get a diagnosis and have cancelled, as I have no trust that my latest appointment would not also be cancelled. Thought it would be quicker than NHS.

   Excellent ! Activated private / work health insurance to get the operation sooner for blocked infected sinuses as couldn't carry on just popping very strong antibiotics that were making me feel ill and bloated. Took 24hrs to arrange, then Monday seeing Consultant, Tues for pre-op and was in for my operation 7am Weds ! Fantastic care - but then it is Royal Derby (treated and destroyed my throat cancer WITHOUT SURGERY in 2013). Private room, visitors allowed 24/7, but was discharged 7hrs after my operation so well pleased !! For us it's the brilliant Royal Derby every time - no brainer - the whole staff, setup, facilities there means the best treatment !! Thanks again Royal Derby !
