Back in May, I was taken to hospital, where they thought I had a bleed on the brain. Luckily it wasn't. I was told, I had a perforated ear drum that would heal, and my hearing would get back to normal. I'm now deaf in my right ear. Twice, I've been to Testvale Surgery, including this morning, only to be told, you'll have to wait eight months, to be looked at. I'm in serious pain, and its affecting my health. I'm appalled at the attitude of Testvale Surgery.

Their organisation skills are terrible. Received a text to confirm flu vac but then another one to say do nothing will be in contact only to discover all booked up at the same time my medication has gone on walk about to a pharmacy that I often cannot get to. On the off chance also told that a GP wants to see me regarding test results if I had not of asked I would never of known. This is not patient care as it should be. If it was a private company I would never use them again but I like every one else have no choice but to put up with this rubbish service.

Once an excellent surgery with great patient care, this surgery sadly no longer offers an acceptable level of service. The attitude of a lot of the staff is poor and there appears to me to be a real lack of care for their patients.

Extremely displeased. If I could do negative star reviews, I would. My girlfriend has quite a severe case of iron deficiency. This place has failed to supply her with more prescription tablets for over a month now. Extremely disappointing and not a good look on British healthcare. I am absolutely ridiculed by the speed that it takes to simply get some iron tablets. Be ashamed of yourself.

I have been fortunate enough to have been a patient of this surgery when it was run efficiently. The management had a common sence approach and patient care was at the heart of everything they stood for. Sadly this is no longer the case and patients are treated as an inconvience. The appointment system is dsysfunctional at best and the reception staff have been instructed to avaid giving an appointment as apparently the Doctors are busy or not available. The tag line is "There are no appointments call back next week" this is repeated on a weekly basis. It is fair to say the NHS is broken, unfortunately our once very good surgery has declined to a point where it also is broken and I fear there is no way back.

Testvale surgery like others stated used to be a great practice, now I can't get an app for love nor money I ring at 8 wait in a 20 strong queue to be told there's not any app's left. Trying to get a pre bookable routine is just as awful I've been told a month the nearest.. a month! I've heard alot of docs doing appointments from home still that's partly why it's so bad think covid is being used as an excuse.

This used to be a good practice once upon a time. I filled in the online form and it said it couldn’t help online and that I needed to see someone. So I called and the receptionist was rude and not helpful at all and said no appointments today available. I’d been seeing on social media a number of complaints about how rude the receptionist and bad the service has become and the no appointments ever available but only experienced this myself today being I don’t rarely go to see a doctor. What’s happened Testvale? You used to be such a good surgery

The best and most efficient Surgery that I have ever used. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and professional. The Surgery is clean and it has an number of different treatments on offer as well as numerous Doctors to choose from. The booking in system is efficient and you have to wear a mask whilst on the premises. There are some pre-bookable appointments and you can also call from 08:00 hrs to try and get an appointment on the day. Unfortunately the 8am call is next to impossible to get through on. You can be number 27 in the queue by the time the phone system has given out all the information and advice that it has to do. Usually it's not worth calling because the system doesn't prioritise the calls. Everyone who's calling wants an appointment which can be very very stressful and difficult to get. All of the staff are very well presented and excellent quality of service at all times. Sometimes a doctor may over run, I would rather wait, the person obviously has a problem that is very difficult or distressing for them and they may need that few extra minutes to get the right help. It will state whether or not your doctor is running on time or not. I have nothing but positive feedback to give, especially as I have needed extra help in the past and it definitely made all the difference to me. I didn't feel like I was just another patient but a person. They definitely have and continue to give a superb, effective and efficient service in these challenging times. I would definitely recommend this Surgery to anyone who lives local. They do lot's of other services including blood tests and blood pressure tests. Diabetic clinic and many more. It has been less crowded since Covid because you can have a phone consultation or a face to face appointment depending on what you are suffer from. I can honestly say that this Surgery and the doctors that I've seen have literally saved my life and I continue to get regular support from my GP.
