   I find the staff very kind and the doctors really nice whenever I get an appointment. My issues are with booking the appointments. Struggling to get an appointment with a gp for months now. Sends antibiotics and painkillers every time when I ask for an appointment. I have filed a complaint and got no apologies our clarification about my concerns got a one liner back"I can book a telephone appointment with the gp next week". I believe they don't even bother to check patients records or the condition of patients to consider booking an appointment. I am sooo fed up and I am in constant pain. There is no sense of morality or dignity in those dealing with the appointments I believe.

   I've had a consistently positive experience with this GP surgery. The reception staff are always helpful and efficient, making it easy to book appointments and get the support I need. The nurses are professional and kind, and I’ve always felt well cared for during my visits.    The good: Mental health nurse Shola was wonderful and all the other medical staff I dealt with. The bad: They can't be bothered to let you know if they cancel your phone appointment. And there's no way of contacting them except over the phone.

   Waited on hold for 80 minutes to talk to receptionist, was told that I'd have to call first thing in the morning to get an appointment, otherwise the soonest appointment they'd provide is in 16 days. Frustratingly poor service, so much worse than any surgery ive been with before

   Totally rubbish pleace for sick people,if you struggling with health avoid this place. My mum legs are bad condition she no can walk at all , we has from emergency notice to gp that need take care of her legs , they always says reception they don’t have any notice but even this is not enough. After few conversation and few visits on hospital mum had appointment today with one rude and not educated doctor,how she can say about her legs healthy if she didn’t check her documents she didn’t even check her legs condition ,this doctor obviously she didn’t know nothing about mu mum health,how come people like that they working on such responsibilities pleace, doctor try to give my mum medicine that’s she is allergic on . They siad because she is old , how come someone can said to others patients? She is only 55 and her health can be better if someone will take care of obviously they don’t.

   Would honestly score lower if I could. Was told by 111 that I should call this surgery as I needed medical attention ASAP. 111 emailed the surgery on my behalf. I called them as instructed by 111 and was immediately met with a rude abrasive woman! who once I had explained what 111 said she laughed and said you can’t have an appointment were fully booked. I try to explain the necessity of the appointment but again she laughed. I find this incredibly as 111 and now different Dr has confirmed that all dr surgery’s have to keep medical emergency appointments available. When I called 111 back they were shocked at what I was told. I have of course a recording of the call I had with the rude woman and will be taking it further with the practice manager and follow it up with a conversation with P.A.L.S (Patient advice and liaison service) As a manager of a private dental practice I am absolutely appalled at the lack of respect that Alma road surgery reception staff have for ill and and worried patients. Maybe a petition for her removal would help her understand.

   We've been registered here for many years and have always been happy with the service. Sadly, over the past couple of years the care provided has reduced to the point where it has become almost non-existent. In our opinion, the surgery is no longer fit for purpose. You can't get through on the phone. You can't talk to anyone face to face. You can't get a doctor's appointment, and if you try booking one through the web-site, there are no appointments available. How on earth do you get to see one of the doctors? The only thing we now use it for is repeat prescriptions on-line. We are moving to a different surgery.

   I would say Undoubtedly the worse GP surgery in hampshire. absolute rubbish, rude, useless reception staff, fail to answer phone calls, refuse to make appointments if you arrive in person and tell you to phone in!!! pathetic, backwards organisation. Booking an appointment by phone takes hours, when you get through you will be lucky to see a doctor within a month! The Services which used to be free on the NHS are unavailable now and they recommend you go private,This place is a shambles,need to close it down.
