Terrible doctors. Sat in there with a Dr for 10 seconds (first time meeting) and spoke about taking tablets? Hang on, we’ve just met and just spoken? Nothing I said related in anyway to tablets. How can you offer someone tablets after just meeting them and speaking for 10 seconds. Said she would write a sick note but didn’t say what was on the note. As I’m leaving they put down depression! 1st at the doctors in years and years, first time meeting the Dr and depression! Wow! I walked straight back in and challenged this and she refused to change! I am far from depressed! Awful practice and I do not recommend at all. Stay away from this place…

I’d give this place minus if I could! Absolutely disgusting place! They are rude and try to speak to you like a child until you snap! I’ve been trying for 8 months for an appointment, suspected skin cancer but all I get told is it’s not an emergency call back tomorrow! As for trying to get hold of medicine to keep you alive due to a long term medical condition, you will have to jump through their hoops BACKWARDS! Very quick to send me a stupid text to invite me to routine screening but can’t be bothered to see me for that either! Send the text and then think ohhh good job done! You should be ashamed of yourselves! I am embarrassed for you

Cannot get a routine appointment for love nor money. Call at 8.30, in a call back queue, called back in 20 minutes and every appointment gone with any doctor at any time. Great business model for the practice truly awful experience for everyone else. If you don’t have a relative or friend working in the practice you have little chance of seeing any doctor.

Well, I've had my share of fallouts with this practice. I've had extremely rude receptionists talk rubbish, with total conviction, and experienced the rudeness of one of the receptionists. I would say however, from a patient viewpoint, in the last year or so things have immeasurably improved. There seem to be more Doctor appointments available, the reception team is a lot happier, and more helpful, and generally things seem to be working much better. Re the dash to phones in the morning; I can only say I've used this twice in the last year, and I've had a callback inside an hour, and in one case, an appointment later that day. Even the doctors seem happier. The GP who looks after me is always cheerful, seems pleased to see me (she must be actor in her spare time) and listens to what I'm trying to explain. So, no problems, no issues.

I have found the surgery to always be very helpful and professional. Since the merger I have found, when ringing up, there are a lot more appointments available, sometimes with a choice of site to pick from. The call times can at times be long, but this is not the receptionists fault, and they shouldn't be slated for this. They work professionally and as quickly as possible to answer all our calls.

Posting on behalf of my Husband. My Husband recently visited Lymington A&E with a very bad cough and chest pain. He was diagnosed and issued medication and we were home under 2 hrs later. He was advised that he may need additional meds. A week later he tried to get the meds as advised which took 24 hrs & 13 phone calls. Disgusted.

If I could give 0 stars I would. If you have a problem with yourself you'll be sent to a Pharmacy. If you have a problem with your child you'll be sent to a Pharmacy. If you insist on seeing a Dr the highly trained triage receptionist will tell you to go to A&E. Complete shambles.

My elderly sister recently had a small cancerous lump removed from her leg and was told by the hospital surgeon to make an appointment within one week to see the practice nurse at her surgery to have the dressing changed. When she tried to make the appointment she was met with a complete don't care attitude and that it was impossible to see a nurse anytime in the next 3 weeks. She changed the dressing herself and as yet has been unable to see either a practice nurse or GP to check the wound as requested by her surgeon. The receptionists have been very abrupt and almost rude.

Absolutely disgraceful non-existent service. Tried phoning for an appointment ( spoke to a pharmacist next door who said need to see a doctor ASAP) but constantly got recorded message which at the end said "your call cannot be completed at this time try again later", I tried for over an hour always got the same message. Tried to book apt online but that was another waste of time as it stated apts were not available online. Guess I will have to go & visit the A&E dept where they at least will see you even though they are really overworked. Time to look for a new surgery .
