   I've been to a fair few opticians in my life, Duffield Clinic are by far the friendliest, nothing was too much trouble and they explained my eye test in detail which was lovely. The transition lenses are fantastic and I highly recommend them. Thanks again!

   I called to ask if they had the facilities to check a 4 year old child’s eyes. I was reassured that they could do this. I took my 4 year old along and my child was given a laminated sheet with letters on and asked my child to look at the letters on the wall - the optician pointed to one and asked my son to match it with the one on the sheet. My child became uncomfortable with this and I suggested he had had enough. The test continued. The rest of the check up was ok but I was expecting pictures rather than letters. I took my child for a second opinion just to be sure and the test he had was far more detailed and they used pictures instead of letters. My child was so much more comfortable and relaxed.
