    They are a disgrace. Just want to send you to a&e because they can't do thier own job properly. Get a receptionist making all there decisions. They'd rather not see someone at all then have to do the job they trained for. I find it a disgrace to pay national insurance to get this level of service. All in all terrible

    Being relatively new to the area, I had to sign up to a GP and chose this one. I was obviously very skeptical because of some of the reviews on here, but they are seriously amazing. I have easily gotten every appointment I have needed (you just need to get on the website to book as early as you can), and the doctors along with the pharmacy staff next door have been absolutely empathetic, caring and exactly what you’d need from people in these professions - despite all of the pressure that NHS staff currently face. If you’re nervous to sign up due to the reviews, I recommend you personally give this practice a try if it is the one nearest to you, as you can always transfer to another doctors if this one doesn’t seem like a good fit for you. But overall, 10/10!!!!

    This GP practice is without doubt the worst NHS service I have used in my entire life. Every health issue they have had involvement in has been appalling. They are consistently incompetent, From the reception staff, GPs and management staff. Constantly passing blame for their own mistakes. Simple requests such as prescriptions are not processed and even referrals to services that are no longer exist. A disgusting service that is a barrier to health seeking behaviours, this practice is To be avoided at all costs.

    A great practice - the G.Ps are thorough, and listen intently to concerns. Since having my daughter they have been reliable, friendly and efficient during what have been difficult times. Admittedly it is not always the easiest to get an appointment but I find the reception staff (in particular Chrissy&Zoe) very genuine and repeatedly go out their way to help you with the resources they have available to them. In my experience, the practice has been consistently responsive to concerns of a serious clinical nature.

    If I could give it 0 stars I would. Hugely gone down hill. The new booking system is appalling. Impossible to get through on the phone just says try again later. Took all day to get in touch to book in as I wasn't able to book online for one of the reasons they specify. Got attitude from the receptionist until I informed her that I could not book it online then suddenly her attitude changed maybe if she gave me chance to say why I called that could have been avoided. Been impossible to get an appointment for my toddler was given a link to book in for a practice not close to me. Told to call up which took 3 hours to be told they couldn't do anything and take him walk in center. The website doesn't work for checking your records and after over a year they still haven't fixed it. The new booking system needs to be scrapped and major changes made. Will be looking to move to a new doctors surgery asap.

    Can never get through on the phone, can't get appointments, receptionists don't care and aren't bothered. It's a shame such a great doctors has become such a shambles. Needs someone new to manage the place and put new protocols in place. Make appointments available online, so the phone lines dont get so jammed. They say there are appointments online, but they are for weeks in advance, only for bloods or a telephone call, no face to face which is what people want, you'd be better off making all appointments online then you could get rid of the rubbish receptionist's and hire 1 good one who can book people in if we they come to the door, or call as they don't have access to the internet

    I need to see a Doctor to get a prescription for something I had a few years ago. For the last 6 weeks I have been trying to call but can never get through. I have tried calling the moment it turns 8am, but they are 'having a large number of calls', and I've tried calling minutes before but the line is closed. I live 2 minutes away from the surgery so popped in to be told I can't book at the desk. I said I can't get through on the phone and was advised to go to the walk in centre or A&E (even though that is meant to be for emergency's only). I'm glad it is nothing serious I have. Time to look for a new surgery that I can get in to see a Doctor I guess.

    The doctors and staff have been very good when I've seen them. Getting an appointment is impossible no matter what time you ring. I see the practice has replied to similar comments saying their IT team are looking into this, but years later people are experiencing the same issues.

    1. Receptionist came into my shop and said ‘if you struggle to get an appointment ring my personal phone I’ll book you in’ 2. Racist doctor asked which side of the family my sons grandad was from. No relevance to my sons appointment, just my son is white and my dad is Jamaican. 3. Receptionist wouldn’t advise which room my 2 yr old son was in with my dad 4. Patronising and uneducated doctors who do the same as 111 health advisors, just with a thermometer. Avoid even applying to this doctors, practice needs just that, a little more practice or shutting down. In 2 years I’ve had to go to walk in centre via 111 appointments due to the illness of my son and the practice never having any availability (unless you ring there personal numbers, that is)

    This practice has a long standing atrocious reputation in the industry. Having dealt with them whilst working at a Dispensing Appliance Contractor for 9 years they were the worst practice to deal with from a business perspective on a national basis. After moving to the area some 6 years later and having to register with them as a patient myself, I was filled with dread, thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt with it being a significant amount of time passed. Unfortunately not, they are still atrocious from a patient perspective. Having requested a copy of my own information SEVEN TIMES over a THREE month period, it was finally PRINTED to be collected, when I had asked for this to be emailed. I have an NHS email address, so my own data could have been sent encrypted. I have worked in general practice and primary care for several years in either a reception, prescription Clark and phlebotomy roles and I wouldn’t work for this practice if you paid me a GP salary! Avoid registering with them if you can, you will not get any patient satisfaction from being a registered patient here. If you do happen to need to be in a room with a clinician, (or on the phone) the practices only saving grace is that the clinical team are very knowledgeable and professional and from the experience I’ve had dealing with the actual clinicians directly they are hard working and can provide reliable information and care. Would still avoid at all costs if other practices near by are accepting patients.
