   My elderly mother who lives in Derby,desperately needs help with her feet. Im not local,living in Leicestershire. I did some online research and found this clinic in Spondon. Made an online appointment. Today I travelled over 30 miles and arrived at the clinic,mistakenly thinking said appointment was 12.30pm. My welcome was a frosty faced receptionist,who informed me that we had missed the appointment. It was booked for 12pm. However we could wait and see if the next appointment didn't show. They did of course arrive prompt. My mother is 88 years old and uses a crutch or rollator,and is clearly disabled. Yes it was my fault,I got the time wrong. There was no offer to book a new appointment,or any compassion shown towards us. A very brisk, take it or leave it sour faced individual to say the least. Cannot recommend this business.

   After suffering with my toe for a very long time I decided it was time so visit the podiatrists at central health. I was met with a beautiful smile from Mez (Senior podiatrist). From this first moment I was fully aware of what was going to happen. Everything was explained in detail and my fears were squashed instantly. Two visits and I am free from pain. I can now get on with my life without the worry of further pain and discomfort. Well done Mez- Great professional service. 100% worth going! Truthfully Highly recommended!

   I have had problems with my middle toe on left foot for over a year gradually getting more painful! Tried various solutions non of which worked, finally went to the foot clinic a few months ago ago! I could not believe the difference it made! Almost immediately I felt relief and totally pain free!

   Finally got round to getting an ingrown toenail sorted out after Mev was recommended to me. The reception staff at Central Health are very helpful and Mev was brilliant, very thorough, friendly and professional from start to finish. The removal op itself was quick and easy, the only discomfort being the numbing injection beforehand. The pain I’ve suffered in my toe for years was instantly gone. I followed the aftercare advice and it’s healed really well - a month later there’s hardly any sign of the op having happened. I would not hesitate to recommend Mev at Central Health for this procedure!

   After 9 months of trying many recommended remedies for plantar fasciitis, without significant improvement, I referred myself to Central Health foot clinic. My Podiatrist, Adnan Nazir, was very positive that together we could bring about healing of my damaged ligament, and so it has proved. As soon as I received the first treatment with extra corporeal shock wave therapy, walking began to become less painful. With the addition of night splint support, orthotics, regular icing of the affected foot and recommended exercises, six months on I am virtually pain-free and back to enjoying long country walks. I cannot thank Adnan enough for his professional proficiency, coupled with warmth and a sincere determination to do the best by his patients and recommend him to fellow sufferers without reservation.

   Visited the clinic on a Saturday afternoon to have a very painful corn on my foot to be removed. The lady who saw me did a fantastic job of removing a very deep corn as well as hard skin on me heals etc. She also recommended that I try some insoles which would help to rectify the way I walked and told me that I should feel a difference but it may not be immediate. I was skeptical that the very thin looking insoles would do anything to help ( I am in a job that means i am on my feet for many hours a day resulting in my feet and legs hurting a lot).but thought OK, I will give them a try. I have worn the recommended insoles now for 4 weeks and OMG. I cannot believe the difference they have made. No more pain ( even after a very long shift ) and much less hard skin !! I have seen a lot of Chiropodist/ Podiatrists over the years but The lady I saw here was the ONLY one to recommend insoles of any description. Thank you so much for the great job you did on my feet and for the recommendation of the insoles.. I wouldn't go anywhere else now.

   "I would just like to say a huge thank you to David Elliot who gave me the confidence to run the Robin Hood Half Marathon, this year. I was fully expecting to be told to stop all training and to pull out of the race. But after David's thorough examination and expertise he said I would have no trouble to run and would be able to do it without any further injury. I managed to complete the race in good time, I didn't think I would be able to run 1 mile let alone 13!! However I'm not sure I would have done it without David's recommendation. So thank you again!!! I would fully recommend anyone suffering with any foot injury to book in with David Elliot at Central Health!! Thank You"

   I have needed to use the physio services here to treat two problems, in 2011 I had a back problem (a couple of weeks before I was due to get married!) Kevin worked his magic, in just a few sessions the problems were dramatically improved and I was able to walk down the aisle confidently, not limp like I had been doing. More recently I injured a shoulder and was in so much pain that I needed time off work, I wasn't sleeping and I was taking the maximum dosage of strong painkillers. After my first session with Kevin I noticed a great improvement and was able to halve the dose of painkillers. After three sessions I didn't need to take any tablets at all abd was able to return to full normal duties at work. The confidence he gave me that both issues could be resolved really helped boost my recovery, I had been miserable and in a lot of pain, but a dose of positivity, good explanations and some exercises to follow at home, along side Kevin's hands on treatment has sorted both problems out quickly.
