The surgery computers need to be updated as the receptionists take forever to get anything done which means you’re in a queue for over 20mins, the doctors & nurses sadly can’t wait to get rid of you so you are moved on like you’re on a production line like they don’t care none about you, also if you move out of there catchment area just by a few yards they cancel your account & tell you to find another surgery even tho you will be back in there catchment area in a few weeks which means a hole heap of stress for you & your family sorting out new doctors & pharmacy to get your life saving medication before going through the rig role of doing it all again when you move back in to there catchment area, they are unhelpful, cause more stress than is needed & are as slow as sloths at getting anything done so thank you very much for the stress & hassle you have put me & my family though & here is me thinking that doctors & nurses are there to help you not make life more crap so thanks a bunch Willington surgery.

Having transferred from another local surgery a few years ago, I could not be happier. The staff here are without exception wonderful. The best receptionists who actually want to help and doctors that are proactive. I could go on and on. Thank you all.

This is a wonderful example of how a GP surgery should be. Friendly, efficient and very helpful reception staff, and doctors, nurses and pharmacist prepared to listen and go out of their way to help. Five stars.

Have tried to get an appointment at this surgery for 2 weeks. Rang at 8am every day. Sent to Hatton pharmacy last week but this did not work. Continued to try again & still no appointments. How do you get to see a GP any more? How can you get past an unqualified receptionist?!

Partner rang this afternoon as had developed severe sinus infection, feeling poorly, swollen face and loss of balance. Told no appointments and to ring tomorrow morning at 8am, or go to Walk in Treatment Centre. Fat lot of good. Not happy at all. Shoddy service. Treatment centre gives appointment for Royal Derby for 7pm. Got there no appointment on screen. Next appointment 10.30pm! Informed that could have got treatment in pharmacy. Why did surgery not say this. Complete bucket passing. Not happy at all.

I find the surgery staff both efficient and always helpful and doctors and nursing staff very responsive and professional to any concerns. All surgeries have a similar process to make same day appointments having to call close to 8am, in my experience this has worked well when I’ve needed it. I think the balance between a telephone consultation v face to face is also dealt with appropriately depending on patient need.

Very unhelpful staff who basically don't want to enable you to make an appointment or offer information unless you are persistent. On one occasion, having finally seen a doctor about a serious foot injury I was referred for x-rays of the wrong foot, causing massive confusion and delays!

I usually prefer to see Dr Wright or Dr Saunders, both GP's are really nice & I find them quite comforting & very supportive. It can be tricky to obtain an appointment as you have to call in bang on 08:00am and the lines do get busy. When I have required a sick note or private referral for my Bupa health insurance, the receptionists have been very helpful and prompt. Fantastic surgery!

Call at 8am, hold for 40 mins to be told no appointments. Told to call back the following day. Rude and unhelpful reception staff that quiz the reason for the appointment. You have to be dying to get an appointment at this surgery!

Very disappointed with this surgery. All I need is a referral for surgery on bunions. Because it is not urgent I have to ring at 10am in Wednesday mornings. Why! I could so easily send a photo of my foot to show my bunion and this would speed things up and not need an appointment in person. I joined this surgery in 2016 and this is the first time I have needed an appointment. I tried the online booking which seems to be outdated and I was directed to another app which equally does not work. I would like to not give any stars but it will not let me post my comments, so begrudgingly I will give one star! Not happy at all.
