Not 5* because the rooms need redecorating. Rooms clean. Comfy bed and pillows. Well equipped. Staff were outstanding. They were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent value for money. Would definitely return. Very handy to walk into Winchester.

Paid parking which you need to consider when looking at room price. Parking is not easy with small spaces and large pillars! Reception on floor above. Automated checkin operate most of the time but aren’t always responsive. Rooms are the usual good quality of Premier, although the bed not as comfortable we are used to. Great location near to, but not noticeable, to M3 Jt9

Excellent, friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms were clean and airy. Good food, both breakfast and evening meal. The walk into Winchester, is over 20 minutes, hilly and with very narrow paths on a busy road.

Room was fine although there was a hole in ceiling above the bath. Service in the bar wasn't great, one member of staff seemed to be avoiding work. Went to the restaurant around 7pm and the same member of staff gave us the impression they had stopped cooking even though cooking finished at 9.30. When we said we only wanted nibbles that was ok

Great stay tonight. Ate dinner (unexpectedly as couldn't get a cab into the city). The food was excellent, our group of 6 all enjoyed everything at a great price too. Well done Premier Inn. All the staff were excellent and friendly too, we'll come again

Room not ready on arrival. Had to take family immediately out, for the room to get ready, after 4 hours driving. Back to he hotel after few hours - towels and soap still not available, empty bottles left from the previous guests. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Rooms are good. Management have to reflect on staffing resources to reflect on the activity. Probably will never choose this one again.

Nice location between LHR and Southampton cruise port. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent especially the cooked breakfast.

The staff here were very friendly and polite. The breakfast was better than I was expecting and very nice. The room was your standard room but could have been cleaned a little better.

We stayed here for one night so we could visit the Winchester Christmas market. The hotel isn't as new as some PIs we've stayed at recently, and would benefit from some tlc, but overall it looked fine. Our room was similarly a little tired, especially the bathroom, but it was still a good size and very clean. The service was excellent, as usual, and my all-you-can-eat breakfast was top-notch. They even heated my pastry in the oven! Free parking is included. Recommended.

This was a great place and location to stay 1 night before a cruise from Southampton. Food excellent and large portions. Service was brilliant only small negative is windows in rooms cannot be opened at all just air con but a bit stuffy in the night.
