   We love the Swan we’ve been visiting for years. Unfortunately, this Christmas break wasn’t great on the room front. The pub, the breakfast, the friendly lovely staff were all there but the rooms not. Our room wasn’t clean. There was a ton of dust under the beds; the shower was clogged; the vents in the bathroom dirty with dust; the washing machine in the apartment left rusts stains on our clothes; and we had no room service cleaning our room for 4 days. Hopefully, this was a one off.

   Direct booking procedure is simple and you cancel easily up until day of arrival. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean with tea and coffee making facilities. Decent restaurant and bar area which we did not use on this occasion. Ideal location in town with plenty of parking.

   Just back from a two night stay. Rooms are clean and tidy and supply everything you need even down to a dog towel kindly provided by Louise after getting caught in the rain yesterday. Food is great, big portions but tasted lovely and excellent value for money. Breakfast is really good as well with a great choice along with a buffet if required will definitely be back.

   This was an excellent venue in every way for meeting friends for Sunday lunch today. The setting and atmosphere was great, service was very attentive, food was really excellent, great choice, plentiful and good value for money. Having tried other pubs in the town previously, I think this one will become our regular spot!

   The food is always of good quality and quantity at the hotel. We have been eating here a few times and have never been disappointed so far. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. It's easy to find as it is on the main road. It can be busy at times as it is very popular. Highly recommended to eat a d drink

   We had an early dinner at The Swan Hotel on 22/12/23. The service from our waitress, Alex was excellent and the food was delicious. Really good-sized portions too. We will be back!

   I went seeking a vegan roast and luckily they did me a nut roast. There was a soup option but the menu doesn't list vegan options. It's good they have vegetarian options. So many people appreciate plant based food, I would love The Swan Hotel to set a trend in Hampshire.

   Arrived and had a very nice meal on the Friday evening . Came back to a full bar customers with full glasses, manager spotted us at bar waved receipt in the air”sorry guys I’ve just cashed up” why could he not just add 2 drinks to our room bill.Secondly went to have a shower no hot water. Andy then got served a cold breakfast I got served a cold coffee. We complained and receptionist said pipe had frozen and out of their control . A pipe don’t freeze if water still running. Very poor excuse won’t stay there again.

   We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms were on the ground level which was great for my elderly mother. The staff were very friendly and the Duty Manager made us feel very welcome and served us all night to make sure everything was okay. The food was very tasty and plenty of it. Would recommend everyone to stay here

   We held a 40th birthday party in the Vault. The service was superb and the room itself is phenomenal, a real talking point. Couldn't have been happier and will definitely use it again.
