If there was a zero rating I would do that. My father is a dementia patient who is on purified food only. I have on 2 occasions ordered fortisip drinks for him. I have been told it would be ordered, it has been 5 months since his has last had any, and no reason given as to why it has been stopped. Sadly the practice is not patient centered at all and you only end being stressed and disappointed by the end of your call. I deal with 3 other practice for my other family members and a request are dealt with efficiently and quickly dealing with thid practice is beyond frustrating.

Can’t book an appointment until tomorrow unless it’s medical urgent. I just want to book an appointment not to be see immediately. I used to think my old practice (Wetmore road) was not very good but, Cartlon street is much, much worse.

Extremely disappointing experience. The wait times are unreasonably long, often with no explanation or apology. Even more concerning is the clear lack of competence and attention to detail from staff—mistakes and oversights seem to be the norm rather than the exception. This level of negligence is unacceptable in any healthcare setting. Would not recommend. Registered here due to it being a 2 minute commute from the house. However will be looking at moving to another practise. You are better off driving an hour to an appointment at a comptenet practise.

It is unacceptable to wait over 40 minutes on the phone, being number 30+ in the queue, just to try and book an appointment. This is even more serious when it concerns a child’s health. Most of the time, after this long wait, the answer is the same: no appointments left for today, please call back tomorrow. This system is not normal and does not meet patients’ needs. There should be a more efficient way to access care, especially for children.

Canceled and rearranged my daughters vaccination appointment without letting me know. Wasted trip just to be told she had no appointment, when I clearly had text message confirmation. I now have to go across town to get her vaccines later this week at another practice due to there incompetence.

I left a simple form to fill in and after 4 months this still has not been done. I have visited the place, called them numerous times. Poor communication and very poor service. I have asked them to call me back but there was no response. Insurance claim is being delayed because of the lack of action from the surgery side. Unfortunately I will have to start complain process, not able to wait any longer.

Nice people in reception, they are really friendly and helpful. Smooth registration and smart booking in system. I do avoid dr Thompson or Liam as they are stubborn to the extend that I need come back a few time before I get what solve the problem and with huge respect to them I do understand that they have enormous knowledge and extensive experience but I would rather avoid them at least you have headache and you need paracetamol or life threatening symptoms. But over all experience at Carlton Surgery I can give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Today, I have called 1077 times to try and get through as they have missed medication off my repeat prescription. I still have not managed to get though. The previous record was 378. I cannot find an email address on their website to email them, they wont answer the door to queries. Do I write them a physical letter? How can I contact them? Because of how close I live to them, I am not in the catchment area for other practices. I feel trapped and I am unable to get the healthcare I need. Edit - Got through on my 1621 try

I cannot believe that this GP does not have a call queuing system. My mum put a request in for a repeat prescription and because she requires a review for one of the medications, the request was declined. I have only been informed this by Carlton Street Pharmacy after continually chasing where my mums medications were. Thankfully they have sorted an emergency supply of the other medication. I have called over 400 times in 3 days and the line is constantly engaged....
