Today my daughter had an appointment with one of the nurses and the nurse was absolutely amazing. She put my daughter at ease and explained the situation and all our questions were answered. I'm very happy with the surgery.

This surgery has gone completely downhill. It actually started off well, but now it is honestly a joke. There is no continuity, no consistency and absolutely no proper communication between anyone working there. The most ridiculous part is you can literally be stood inside the surgery and they will still tell you to go home and ring for a triage appointment. What is the point of a reception desk if they cannot help you when you are right in front of them? It is beyond frustrating and makes no sense. Every appointment feels like a reset with a different doctor who has no idea what the last one said. Plans change, notes are ignored and nothing ever gets followed through. The admin system is just as bad endless messages, delays and confusion instead of actually dealing with the issue. The whole place feels chaotic, disorganised and unreliable. It should not be this hard to receive basic care. Honestly, the standard here is shocking and patients deserve much better.

I don't really want to tell you how good my experience has been because you will all want to use this practice, then! However, in the six months or so since I transfered, it has been great! The appointment system and triage is quick, appointments run to time and the doctor I saw today, Dr Pia, explained fully my MRI results, and referred me on for physio, so not got a bad thing to say.

On an appointment at Gordon street Surgery last week, I saw two nurses both named Sarah, they were very caring, patient and skilled. Everything I could hope for of the best of nursing. A recent Doctors appointment, phone calls and interaction with reception staff, all of which were friendly and helpful, left me feeling confident of being a patient of a well run Doctors Surgery. Thank you to the staff and all the people involved running the surgery, for all your effort and hard work in turning things around. Thanks from Kieron.

Why make everyone sit through someone talking for 2 minutes to then be told that there's too many people in the queue, and to call back later? Why not just tell us immediately, or immediately drop the call?

It's really surprising why authority is not taking any appropriate action towards this GP. I was a first caller for taking appointment for my 2 year old daughter. Eventhough, after explaining the critical situation, receptionist is hesitating to give appointment. She told, doctor will call me back, then, after 2 hours a pharmacist called and enquired the situation. Since he understood the criticak stage, he told doctor should examine the patient and he will refer back to GP. Then, there is no information from GP at all. Later, when I called 111, they asked to bring to A&E immediately.

So glad my details are no longer at this surgery. Receptionists are very nosey. They want to know everything about why you want an appointment to see the doctor or nurse, even tho it’s private and confidential. Receptionists have NO RIGHT to ask why you want an appointment. Disgraceful!!! I wouldn’t recommend this surgery to my worst enemy or to anyone in general. It needs receptionists that are respectful for your privacy

Waited 35 minutes to make appointment as I think I might have had two mini strokes. Receptionist decides after a 10 second interview they have no appointments available so call back later. Just incredibly bad and dangerous.

I would put 0 if it would be possible!!! For two weeks trying to get an appointment, with no luck, keep sending to pharmacy or 111, as they very busy, today i went there to check how busy whey are, empty waiting room and happily chatting staff! Even they web site is full of krap !!! I wish to say so many more things but that's impossible without inappropriate words.
