A beautiful guest house where nothing is spared. High quality room with lots of extras to make your stay more comfortable. A lovely host who loves to chat. Self serve breakfast with fresh tea/coffee, orange juice, fruit, cereals, yoghurt, toast and pastries. A beautiful quiet setting with parking. Also a very good price especially on a Friday. Highly recommend this guest house

Lovely place to stay the night before our cruise ,only 20 minutes away from Southampton port. The host was very friendly and the room was beautiful and clean with added little thoughtfull touches . A continental breakfast was included such a cereal ,yoghurt, fruit ,toast and lovely coffee too . I would recommend this place to stay .

We had a fantastic stay at Richmond Lane Guest House. Great location – quiet yet close to the station and town centre. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, showing us around and making us feel at home. The room was spotless, very comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches, tea and coffee, biscuits, mini fridge with water, and a lovely shower bathroom. Even though we left before breakfast, we were given pastries, fruit, and bottled water to take with us, which was such a kind gesture. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Absolutely lovely stay. Beautiful room and a truly amazing host. I have stayed in a great many hotels and guest houses over the years and I can honestly say this was by far the nicest. So welcoming. I will definitely come visit again.

Warm and welcoming hosts. Very good selection of continental breakfast and the mini fridge in the room was an added bonus. The only fault I could find was a lack of a sink plug, which made shaving a little harder.

Lovely comfortable room. Guest house is in a very quiet and safe area. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Free parking right outside. Will definitely stay there again. The private garden is especially - had my first sit out in the sun this year on the terrace.

if you are thinking of stay here with children .in my opinion it was not a good choice has my daughter an grandchild stayed here .in the evening the landlady entered the chalet with out knocking sat on the edge of the bed and started talking about her private life in front of my 4 year old grandchild .the chalet was not ready the cups where dirty and no curtains at the back window .also in another room where my friend was staying the landlady claimed he damaged the carpet also the window seal but there was already paint scrapped off . on returning home i found out with out my permission or talking to me personally or any quotes she took 500 pounds out of my bank account.so i would recomend you take photos of your room for your own records
