   Return couples trip after a 7 year break (hadn't realised just how long it had been). Still a fabulous place to base yourself for exploring. But we just decided to kick back and relax in the splendor that is The Bothy and getting to know some of the neighbours. Squirrel and deer watching. Stephen and John are excellent hosts and always on hand should you need them. Also just like to say thank you for the bottle of wine and the homemade marmalade which both went down a treat. Especially the wine after our 10 hour drive down from the Lakes. We won't leave it so long next time.

   We had a lovely stay at The Bothy. The cottage was faultless, the best we have ever stayed in over forty years! There was a lovely welcome pack including a lovely jar of Stephanie's Marmalade (I'm sure both the Queen and Paddington would have given the Thumbs up!!) So good meeting John really friendly and helpful with information. If you are looking for accommodation you'll not find better!!! Looking forward to returning :)

   We had to stay here after a plumbing emergency at our home. I was so pleased to have found this place, and that really helped with our stress levels. We didn't want to go home! It was spotlessly clean, very spacious, beautiful and quiet location, walking distance from shops and takeaways, and the shower was incredible! The hosts were really friendly and provided a very useful welcome pack, with yummy homemade marmalade. Highly recommend

   We stayed here a few years ago and what a find it was! Exceptionally clean and well equipped. Lovely quiet area but close to all the town's amenities. We were hoping to see the deer on the lawn but it didnt happen, unfortunately. We did rebook to spend Christmas here the following year but due to family circumstances we had to cancel. We will definately be returning soon.
