Nice, well appointed apartment with a private garden. Close to the forest. The only pris the very busy main road, but it is peaceful inside the apartment.
Great place to stay, close to forest and shops. Several apartments on site so great for groups. Lots of homely touches in the furnishings. Especially nice touch was milk, fresh bread and jam on arrival and plenty of coffee!
Great central location, close to the town, bed was comfortable, whole apartment was exceptionally clean (p2) only 2 niggles was signage to the property on the main road could be more visible (we drove by numerous times to find the entrance) and the hot water is very hot.
Loved the accommodation as it had all the facilities any home would have. Comfortable bed, great kitchen with all the appliances. Lots of storage. Loved the bathroom with the spa whirlpool bath and strong shower. Great location for the New Forest as only across the road outside the accommodation. Lyndhurst village a 10 minute stroll up the road with lots of nice shops and nearly all were dog friendly which was a nice bonus. Paul the owner was great and said hello one day, just checking if we had everything we needed. Definitely going to book for next year as ideal place for a lovely holiday.
Stayed the last 4days in no 3, a double with basic kitchen - microwave kettle toaster fridge which was ideal for our needs . Was very comfortable & clean although had an issue with the shower which had an air lock , but nonetheless we had plenty hot water heating . Paul tried his hardest to address the situation but not while we were there . No problem we still had a fabulous time. We have also stayed in no 2 but when Ormonde House owned it . Hope to be back as Lyndhurst is a perfect base to visit the amazing Forest.
