I've been visiting this pharmacy for about 10 years. The staff team are amazing. Always so friendly and helpful and very discreet if needed.

My private GP messed up my prescription and after 5+ hours of being passed around the NHS and treated incredibly poorly, the staff at this pharmacy were the only ones to actually help me. They went out of their way to get support from the neighbouring nurses due to the unique nature of my issue and were the only ones to offer me real kindness and support through a day that had been terrible. I'm very grateful for their assistance.
I've used this pharmacy on and off for several years but recently my GP surgery changed my nominated pharmacy to this branch. These days you don't tend to find a pharmacy that isn't working flat out every minute they are opened. Greeted by very pleasant staff on arrival within seconds of stepping through the door. The pharmacist came over and suggested a solution for an issue caused by my GP surgery and was extremely helpful. It's great to see such great customer service despite the pressure and workload they must be under. I had been using an online delivery service for the past few years and my only gripe is why didn't I change to this pharmacy in the first place? Remember, you are probably one of several thousand patients covering a wide area. For them to even attempt to offer a personal solution is admirable in itself. Great customer service from all the staff!
The main guy who I assume is the manager is rude and looks down on you. Always was made to feel uncomfortable and spoken to like I was a child. The other staff I never had a problem with. Changed pharmacy to one slightly further away where I'm not greeted with sheer arrogance. Winkebury pharmacy is a great alternative!
Absolutely the best pharmacy around, nothing is too much trouble and the owners and their team are fantastic!
Very poor experience with certain members of staff. When I was prescribed some urgent medicines late in the afternoon they said I have two choices: collect myself which I couldn't due to my medical condition nor could my partner because she works until 6 when the pharmacy is closed, or wait until the next day for delivery. I asked if there was anything they could do and she said "No, collect or wait until tomorrow for delivery". I became very worried and called my GP again who said "oh that is simple just tell the pharmacist to return the prescription to the 'spine' (whatever that is) and your partner can go to any pharmacy which is open later in the evening". I called Rooksdown pharmacy to tell them this and asked why she didn't suggest this in the first place. She became angry and hung up the phone without confirming she had done so. Now I was really panicking about my medicine and had no choice but to ask my partner to collect, who had to abandon her role in the NHS for more than half an hour to do so, only to be given more verbal abuse by the pharmacist in Rooksdown. I have come across such attitudes in other service providers including a certain dental practice in Basingstoke. They think they are kings and us ordinary people will have to dance to their tune. I am lodging a formal complaint to GpHC (General Pharmaceutical Council).
Handy pharmacy with ample free parking. I always get an email when my prescription is ready. They have been helpful in the past when my prescription was unavailable and made an effort to source it.
Rang up the pharmacy today to order some more medication. The receptionist who spoke to me was quite rude, which was shocking to me as I’ve never had a problem with this before. Unsurprisingly, she didn’t share her name. After being on hold and then her coming back and telling me she had ordered the medication, I asked how long it would be until I could collect... she said “thank you” and hung up. She didn’t even say goodbye. I know we are in the middle of a pandemic and, yes, there are far more concerns in the world right now - however, I still feel like staff should be a bit more sensitive and caring when answering the phone.
My husband and I visited the pharmacy yesterday had a flu jab given by Reehna ( didn’t feel a thing ) the staff are very friendly and helpful wouldn’t go anywhere else . Thank you for looking after us and your delivery men who deliver our medication . Would recommend you to anyone . Well done .
